I have never figured out why pople care about their postcounts.

Generally, when a person has a higher postcount it means that they have a higher quality post. It's definitely not always the case, but I think it's almost subconscious for someone to look for the author's identity and credentials. Then evaulate the post count and post title to decide whether to read or skip.

The one credit you have to give people with high postcounts... is that they've posted as much as they have and still haven't been banned.

Oh come on, post count has absolutely nothing to do with post quality. Its no secret who has the most meaningful posts anyway. Besides, if I had 20,000 posts, the entire board would have to shut down for a day to revel in my magnificence.

If anyone wants to be popular and recognized on this forum, apparently all you have to do is post post post and keep posting. Not one the people in the top 10 are anything more than a regular nef, except NFS4, who is an official nef.

I dunno why I come on and post on OT, its just so mindlessly stupid and fun at the same time. The one sentence reply to everything posts are a bit annoying, but to each their own I guess. I've been around here for years, sometime in 97 or 98 I joined. Of course I had a different name back then. OT has definitely gotten stupider and juvenile, but I dont come here for mental stimulation.

And give that eakers chick a break, I saw the pictures, and she didnt look bad at all. Of course the people criticizing are more likely than not the same people with Carmen Electra wallpaper and a bottle of jerkins by their side.
