Generally, when a person has a higher postcount it means that they have a higher quality post. It's definitely not always the case, but I think it's almost subconscious for someone to look for the author's identity and credentials. Then evaulate the post count and post title to decide whether to read or skip.

If not higher quality, at least a higher chance of seeing a post by the person at an earlier date. We (I) like to be able to recognize online personalities in the same way we'd rather listen to a friend compared to a complete stranger in real life.

I like Eaker's posts. She's one of the reasons I stayed in this forum when I first registered.

I think she found out that happiness is outside of the walls and not inside a computer... just a guess...

Hmmm, I've been a member here for 3 years now (actually longer, but those posts are long gone with the UBB) and I'm not even Golden yet.

Haha, I guess I have a bit less of a life than you do, since I've been here a shorter amount of time and already have 3400 or so posts, but at this rate it will still be 8 years or so before I hit 20,000k. :Q
 
Eaker's pictures of the meeting were no big deal. And they weren't any different from the ones she's shared with others via webcam. The only difference was weight. But the stupid nerdy, loners were too busy with their four eyes to see what someone looks like. And then they felt compelled to harass her when they saw the meeting pic. If I were Eakers, I'll give them the biggest kicks of their lives. Foolish men!
