quite mad: When I first logged on as a user, someone asked me what I was mad at. I am not mad at anything. I am a stark raving lunatic.

Actually, I have found that "old dog" and "old fart" are usually taken; I opted for something a little more elegant.
 
Mmm. Let me get my zircon-encrusted tweezers and see if I can answer that. It all started way back in the fall of 1973. I was listening to Frank Zappa's song Montana while lighting up a roach... I noticed an expression that was a near anagram of my real name...

Needed a badass name for Deathmatching way back in the day - and it's been with me ever since.
 
I have an unhealthy addiction to Ben Browder's character on Farscape. In my more deluded moments, I actually believe I am the girlfriend of John Chrichton. 😉
 
Well, Moonbeam was taken by the wise and venerable Moonbeam here, but that was my nickname in highschool.

Soooooo....

I Am a Rock (I Am an Island) is my favorite old song, and I can relate to it... So, I am an Isla.

I also call myself an island girl in general, having grown up surrounded by water. I'm at home by the sea.

It made sense to me.

Mine dates back to the good ole' dialup BBS days. I needed a name to use on all the boards, so I started mixing words together. I thought Killbat sounded neat, so I kept it. I've never used another handle since then.
 
A couple years ago I had a bond obsession hence the 007. LTK= liscense to kill

pretty lame I know, I'd rather be heccubus right now but I chose a name and I'm sticking with it.

Though HoopDogg came about cause my last name is Hooper (insert joke/disgustingly funny comment here) and dog? Well, people used to call me hoopdog all the time and hoopdog was taken soI had to use 2 'g's

I do not drink(AT ALL)

The handle is for being the father of triplets. As a former truck driver, one who asked about my life, was offered that information from a friend and, gave me the handle. It is an effectionate remembrance of my children and I honor that.😉
 
I am a temp agency, just ask ratkil. 😉 Actually, I don't know how my nickname GirlFriday came about, I just wanted something different for once. Everywhere else I am known as Yeeny, or some variation of it. My brother could not say Colleen (which is my name) when he was little, so he called me Yeeny. And it just stuck with me.

Tripleshot: Thats a nice nickname then. That must be cool, having triplets. 🙂

When I started playing UO a year ago, I couldn't think up a name, happenened to be looking at a TVGuide and saw the show &quot;Pretender&quot; so I just chose the name.

When I came here, I also couldn't think up a name so I just re-used it.

Prodigy, because back when I registered about a year ago, the Prodigy was my favorite group. 69, well I don't know....

My last name is Hendricks (like Jimi) and I work in Norcross, GA, former home of Hayes modems. I tied the two together and got PurpleHayes!

 
I've had Phalkon since I was, oh, 12 yrs old... I've used it ever since I could input my own name on a Nintendo game.
I came up with it when I was obsessed with finding different spellings for the same word... and since I completely massacred the word Falcon into my nick, I stuck with it... oh yes, I also like peregrine falcons because one lives near my house and I see it occasionally.

Edit: I also go by Yesudo when I can't go by Phalkon. Yesudo came about when I was playing QuakeWorld and I was sucking horribly and I put my team name as [SUK] and my name as YesUDo... hence YesUDo[SUK] or, Yes; You do Suck.
Pronounced: Yes-oo-doe.

Edit2: Please don't spell my nick as: Phalkno, falkon, falkno, or Phalkone.... I've endured years of it 😛
