<< Did anybody notice the 5.25" floppy on that "modern" computer? lol. >>

No no, that's a slot-load Blu-ray. Very hip.

<< I got this DESK at office depot, when it was onsale for $99 used the $20 off $75 and got a great deal on a metal and glass desk, got tired of moving particle board desks and having them break. I added a few plasitc rolling file storage drawers from target to store stuff in. >>

Do you have a bigger pic of it?

This desk really has some appeal. I cant believe Kmart carries it.

As for the Leda desks... I think they look too noisy, and unappealing for me. + I like to look up to my monitor...

<< Yeah, it may not be the hottest deal going (get a couple of cinderblocks and a big hunk of wood if you're really cheap), but if you're going to spend $150 on a Lian Li you can shell out another $200 for "this desk". >>

Ditto. Those Leda desks are way too much for me. I like the more basic, normal looking ones.

imagine these desks with computer connecting wires all over...
have you all noticed how most of the ad pictures do have hate the computers wired...

What about an LCD flat monitor, anyone know of any new desks that are made specifically for them? The Leda's would be a waste of space with an LCD, because it's made for a regular monitor...

I am due for a new desk, but need 1 that is pretty small and has shelves for all my stuff. This in mind I looked at

<< For a computer desk nothing beats a "Leda" >>

. I like the look of these. Not really the down view one but instead the $94 one on that site above. It holds a 19" monitor which I need and I like shelves and adjustable monitor shelf. Anyone else have one of these Leda's? Shipping and prices are fairly low. I want to know how sturdy they are. Anyone help me out please? Thanks

I'm quite surprised we don't have more Leda owners in this forum. They're excellent computer desks and very comfortable for those of us who are afixed to our computer for extended periods of time. I saw different variations of this design down in Peru but it seems here in the States Leda has some kind of patent protection on their design. I've been looking for a good deal locally (Atlanta) to save on shipping but if I can't find a distributor here I'll go ahead and order one online.

I hate it when that happens....

Herb, I have the DL-007 Leda, I was impressed by the quality and it is sturdy enough to hold my 19" Trinitron, which is pretty heavy, but it is a bit on the small side for all of my junk.

I have one of these Text

but not that color, I think i got it at office max, its' a great desk, lots of room, and the keyboard tray is the best on any desk, it's huge.

I like the look of the Leda desks and dont mind spending the $20-30 for shipping since it is a desk. I also like the design but was curious about the durability of them. Leaning towards that $97 one on the link about. Anyone else have a Leda? thanks

at my school at this dining center...we have these computers hooked up to thhe network, the monnitoor is placed in a downview setup
well i gotta say it gets really annoying after awhile,,,i mean its a good idea but not practical, the glass also inhibits the view a little, and arent most of u divx and game users???
