Haven't really seen the Bruins this year.

They look like a solid team, especially defensively, but the offense doesn't seem to come as easily. I don't know if grinding gets it done against Van.

The goalies are playing well. The Canucks had some great early chances and are carrying most of the play, but aren't getting it done on the PP. I bet the coaches will make some adjustments and it'll be better next game (remember the SJ series?).

Thomas was unbelievable all game and kept the Bruins in it. Honestly, the Bs looked tired down the stretch there and the Canucks did a great job of shutting down the neutral zone.

Shut that singer up! Horrible rendition of the US anthem. Oh Canada .... coming up

EDIT: Canadian anthem slightly better but both are no first game of The Stanley Cup type of quality.

I actually like the Vancouver singers........ they sing the anthems fast... at least compared to Chi, Nash & San Jose............ faster = getting to the game quicker 🙂

Cheers,
Aquaman

WTF are you talking about? They're straight singing. Richard Loney has been singing the anthems for... decades. Straight, to the point, perfect. Would you rather someone shove a broomstick up his ass and push and pull it at the end of each line so he draws it out to a 10 minute wailing session like a lot of the diva singers in the US do?

Jim Cornielson in Chicago does a great job too. No messing around there.

WTF - "Alex Burrows Bites Patrice Bergeron's Finger in Canucks".

Ya, he'll be on vacation next game. I see this as a 1 game suspension. Bergeron had a glove on and it didn't really do that much. But based on video, the NHL will be forced to do something. So, I am guessing 1 game. If it were the regular season, I'd say 2 games.
