The NGK's actually work better than any plug I have ever found. It is not just me that has found this out... lots of people on the Corral and LS1.com use them.

Buy plugs that came with the car. You will have very little to NO diff. with plugs.

GM = AC Delco
Ford = Motorcraft or Autolite
Europen car = Bosch
etc...

You're very, very wrong about the plugs, though you're completely right about Slick50, Fuel Magnets and SplitFires. Bosch and NGK are clearly superior to the other brands. I wouldn't use AC sparkplugs if you paid me. Your list is just factory fittiments, not the best plugs for the job. I've talked with a lot of independant mechanics and a lot of people who restore muscle cars. Bosch and NGK are recommended far more often than any other brand. The only people I have ever seen recommend using only the OEM plugs are dealership mechanics, and I'll spare you my thoughts on dealership service departments.

Just so you guys know I never bought Chit50 or Chitfire plugs. I mean if Splitfire plugs were so good I would think Jim Yates would of continued to win the Pro Stock division since they were his sponsor at the time. Im sure he ran those in the car to. :Q

Get the NGK platinums. they'll last you 100K miles, and they are great.

I have NGK right now but dont remember if they are the Platinum, I got them for free when I had a freind at NGK in Irvine.

He's mostly a Ford guy, but he's got kits for Mopars now also.

They only did a chassis dyno and reported HP numbers in a MM&FF issue about a year ago.

Bosch Platinum+4 's are nice. They start easy, they run a little smoother, and they don't cost as much as the Iridium plugs if you're like me & spend too much pc's. Good choice.
