NFS: MW: Most intense game of the year

The Carrera GT is the top of the line car, 32/32... which Ive only just bought.

Flew around in a Corvette, Gallardo, the other Lambo, Viper... all upgraded to the max possible at the time and hit 234mph with the Corvette. Cant seem to do it in any other car... I rarely get past 180mph even running from the cops. I just want a nice straight road with no cops/traffic to get some speed up

Busy re-running a few races to trick out my Carrera GT. Its missing an engine, transmission and turbo at the moment... sold everything but the Viper to earn enough to get my final car up to speed. Just beat Ronnie so I have #2 and #1 to take out.

I havent used the BMW M3 GTR but initially, I found my pinkslip Corvette to be MUCH better than my pinkslip Viper. After a load of races, blacklist member or 2... the Viper pulled ahead and I sold the Corvette. I dont understand that but thats how it felt.

The 2006/7 Z06 Corvette will smoke a viper...

GM 7.0L Pushrod V-8 505 HP
Dodge 8.3L V-10 500 HP

Which engine is more efficient? The Corvetee is the finest of cars on the road, especially for the price. The new Z06 will eat alive a 911 Turbo and save you a good 50K while doing so

If its Real Life, I cant drive and I wouldnt drive a crappy American car I have standards!!! Id buy a good one, unless I could find a nicer British Car. A Jag would probably be a bit too pricey

ugh...don't talk unless you know what you're talkinga bout. a z06 will not eat a 911 turbo alive but will be faster. (by the way the new z06 isn't even out yet) the z06 will give good competition to the viper...not be faster.

i haven't played the game, but i ehard it is like underground...and i hated undergroud! is it anything likek the good old need for speed hot pursuit 1,2?

I suggest you learn how to type and then if possible get some grammar lessons at your local daycare center.

The 911 Turbo or any varient of the 911 will not keep up with the 2006 Corvette Z06, not in the straights or in the corners. While General Motors does not produce many quality vehicles anymore, the Corvette is simply a gem and reminds everyone that they still have the ability to make some of the best sports cars, if they try.

Anyway, past BL#6 the game is very repetitive. I actually bothered to have the whole game, challenge, rap list, and career at 100% because I thought I'd get to drive the C6R in carrer mode. Well you don't... which blows. :thumbsdown: :frown:

That was actually an incredibly good future/grav racing game, right up there (if not better) than the likes of Wipeout or F-Zero. It was actually an amazing thing that was spawned from the "flop" that was Episode 1.

it pisses me off that an opponent when still in view can have trouble with traffic (like slowing down or swerving dramatically) but when they pull ahead and out of view, it's all zoom zoom from there. I'm having trouble beating a Gallardo with a Gallardo and these long, unsuccessful races are killing my morale. The Lambo is 4WD so it's still my best bet isn't it ? Or should I try another car and max it out to take me through blacklists 4,5,6 ?

My Gallardo lasted me until I won the Corvette, which I felt was an all round better car. Id keep the Gallardo for a little while longer... its slower speed and sticky handling make it useful. Heck, just before my Gallardo I had to buy that Porsche 911 Turbo which was a lot slower than my current car to actually win a race or 2

The Race AI is so weird. Ive seen on my mini map, my opponent crash and sit in the same spot for 20 seconds then burn up the track much faster than even my Viper can cope with to catch me up. Even racing neck and neck, sometimes the AI can take a corner FAR faster and FAR tighter than you can ever hope to. Combined with the fact that the traffic starts creating a problem, I feel the game really dwindles away towards the end. Just 2 more Blacklist Racers to go for me.

Sense of speed means that you feel that you're going so fast that you lose control. You only get that from games like Richard Burns Rally. That's a true sense of speed

I love the sounds the Corvette makes in the game... It sounds like pure american muscle... The best sounding engine in the game in my opinion. The BMW takes second, but since you can't mod it, I find it worthless. I love the RX8 all tricked out as well. The Audi A4 3.2 FSI isn't that impressive, I really exepected more from it.

^ well I just bought the vette and tuned it to the max and beat the events I couldn't beat with the Gallardo... go figure. I'm about to race the BL#4 Viper.

I have NFS MW 510 for the PSP and I'm at BL lvl 7 (pain in the arse/cannot pass the last 3x races) On that little screen it's harder than hell to react fast enough to play. Getting the pc version soon. I can already taste 1st place.

Nothing can beat NFS Hot Pursuit 2 though ,that was my Fav Porsche Unleashed was decent also.
How do you think Most Wanted compares with HP2 (PC) ?

RX7 is IMO the sweetest car yet again in a recent NFS game.

I'm using the lotus elise right now. It's a fast car once it's tricked out. Handles really well too. Cops are kind of ridiculous at times. Chases seem to last either 20 seconds or I get caught when 10 of them surround me. I love when the x5's come from nowhere and smash the s*** out of me. I don't usually see them coming until it's too late.

It's hands down the best NFS game since HP2. Only complaint is I wish the AI was more realistic - i.e. not being able to cut a 10 second lead to nothing when I'm driving a perfect race. I hate that catch up stuff.
