Unless Garrett is promoted.

With this year's playcalling, penalties, and performance, it's unthinkable that either Garrett will be promoted, or that Wade Phillips will be the only casualty. There will be a huge bloodletting going on. It'll be interesting to see who will be HC next year.

They have a lot of work to do during their bye. If they cannot tighten up their game they will not be able to beat Chicago or Pittsburgh later this season.

Totally agree that they have work to do, they did not play very well today - I'm just happy they picked up the W.

However, please don't put the Steelers and Chicago together like that - the Bears are extremely overrated right now while the Steelers look like the best team in football. Cutler is a chump.

Terry Bradshaw: "and it wasn't Romo's fault!"
huh? Who's fault was it then? I hate these terrible announcers trying to prop up this horrible team just for ratings. Saying that both teams played well, wondering if the Cowboys can still make the playoffs, STFU. They are 1-4. They looked like crap. No other 1-4 team would get that much discussion.

probably the left tackle who whiffed on the snap count and watched the DE run by with his hands still on the ground.

rather boring game so far.

if the skins DBs could catch just a couple of the balls thrown at them it may have more excitement to it.

He misses wide open passes that hit him in the hands with no DB within 5 yards, and yet, he makes impossible catches like that one routinely.

ANyone watching on nbc.com? That stupid ass Rule the Air commercial is coming on like every 30 seconds. Seriously, are they the only one that bought an ad?

It's time for "Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Mike Singletary.."

...is as shocked as anyone that the Niners actually won. His excitement wears off when he realizes it was against the Raiders, however.

that catch by Garcon was the best catch all weekend. wow.

He's got INCREDIBLE hands. He'll pull down balls that really should not be catchable. He and Manning are starting to get in sync and Garcon is playing like he did last season.

GO COLTS!

holy shit what a one-handed catch from Garcon

That was a helluva catch. Reminded me of the Freddie "The Fingers" Biletnikoff rosin-hands days. All he had to do was touch the ball and it stuck to him...Of course, from the looks of it, the new gloves they're wearing look like they're silicone-impregnated...and are just about as sticky.

The Colts are actually playing fairly well tonight...just not as well as they have in previous years.

Still, it's a win...and better than yet another loss. How long is the 49er's management going to let Mike keep coaching...and losing?

How long are they going to keep playing Alex Smith?

He's got INCREDIBLE hands.

An inconsistent concentration -- he misses easy passes but makes the impossible ones on a regular basis.

Oh, and you Cowboys fans -- what would you think if Wade is fired and Jerry hires Norv Turner (assuming he gets fired from SD)?? That would be epic lulz.

I think the cowboy's biggest problem is coaching.

a good coach wouldnt have all these fucking penalties.

they get the yardage ever game, all these penalties just bring them back

When I saw Freddie, I thought you were going to say Mitchell. At first I thought, "Why???" then I thought of that press conference where he walked out with oven mitts on and thanked his hands for being so great.

I just went upstairs and tried to load the game on nbc.com... how is their web player so awful? We have awesome internet here and the thing can't play for more than 2 seconds without buffering, not to mention it took 2 minutes to load.
