Everyone was making a fuss about Beasely being out but McKenzie is having a fantastic game, barring anything like a muffed punt Bills are going to win today, the Pats D looks tired and flustered.

Really, with the way Allen is playing today the Pat's look overmatched, you flush him and he just burns you.
He's looking like 2020 Allen today. Every Bills drive has gotten to the Pats' 12 yard or better. The Bills will need it to make the playoffs and have a hope at making a run, since the defense is way worse than their numbers (feasting on backup QBs all year long).

I'm not ready to count the Pats out quite yet.....

EDIT: Sure be nice for the Bills to have another 4 points on the board right now wouldn't it?

🙂

LOL, no, not from my perspective, at least our rookie QB is trying to respond, now the D has to find a way to slow Allen down somehow, easier said than done.

I tip my cap to the Bills and specially Allen, time and time and time again they had them in 3rd and long and the either makes the excellent throw or runs for the 1st down, clearly the Bills were embarrassed 3 weeks ago in that windy, 3-pass Patriot victory and they came in with looking for vengeance.

The AFC East is not yet won although I think the Bills run the regular-season table vs the Failcons and Gang-Green.

For the Pats I've already predicted 1-1 over the last two regular season games with a loss in Miami so likely a wildcard.... and maybe a rematch with Buffalo?

That sounds about right, Miami has been a house of horrors for the pats even when we had Brady and the Dolphins have had a great 2nd half, I "think" we can handle Jacksonville at home..

That was Buffalo's closest win this season. They either lose by 1 score or win by multiple.
Has to be tough on a defense when Allen is playing his A game, Pats did have a good shot for an INT but it went through Jackson's hands, it was the only really errant ball Allen threw all day, if you wanted a shot of winning you have to make that play. Heck, Allen had 2 balls dropped in the EZ, score could have been even worse for the Pats. In a way that ugly loss to the Pats 3 weeks ago might have been a blessing for the Bills, a huge motivator to play harder/faster/smarter

Every time you complain about teams going for 2 or going for it on 4th or being aggressive in even the least possible way, I completely disagree with you. You like boring ass football.
No, it's worse than that. He's completely results-oriented about a coach's decision making. If the play succeeds, the coach was right. But if it fails, boy was analytics stoooopid. Bill Belichick was always one of the more aggressive head coaches in the NFL because he had the utmost job security to do whatever the fuck he wants. To even suggest that Beli makes the safe, conventional calls is inaccurate.

Btw, before this game, the Buffalo Bills still ranked very highly in various computer models (See FO DVOA and ESPN FPI). With the win, they're clearly still a big factor in the AFC. Sure, their season has seemed very Jekyll & Hyde, but they have the talent to make a run.

Here's one of the most prominent examples in Belichick's illustrious career.

I remember watching that game where Bill made that call. He ain't no dummy.

Yup, there's no invincible team out there. And Rodgers gets the Rodgers' rate.

Watching him play, you can see his FB acumen is off the charts. So, if anyone can lift a "second tier" team (by the metrics) over the top, it's him.

Not saying it's GB all the way. Just saying I wouldn't bet against them.
Rodgers is 0-3 in his last NFC champ games, and at least two of those games were winnable (not that I'm pinning the blame on Rodgers). Don't get me wrong, as a long-time Packers fan, I'll ride his shoulders as far as he'll take them. But I'm also not sitting here and pretending he's Joe Montana or Tom Brady when he's not.

The metrics are pretty clear, the Packers are not better than other top contenders (and likely a little worse). That doesn't preclude the Packers making a run, as they have an inside track on the top seed. And they're probably going to get back a couple impact players for the playoffs.

But to be clear, the problem isn't on offense. It's that the defense is only slightly better than league average and special teams are dead last. No special teams unit this bad has ever made it to a Super Bowl. Which isn't to say it's impossible, but it's never happened before.

LOL nobody on the planet thinks WFT has a shot, for good reason.

That was the most WFT thing to possibly happen after 2 sacks in a row followed up by Dallas disrespecting them with a trick play on 3rd and 16 lol.
