No, it's worse than that. He's completely results-oriented about a coach's decision making. If the play succeeds, the coach was right. But if it fails, boy was analytics stoooopid. Bill Belichick was always one of the more aggressive head coaches in the NFL because he had the utmost job security to do whatever the fuck he wants. To even suggest that Beli makes the safe, conventional calls is inaccurate.

Btw, before this game, the Buffalo Bills still ranked very highly in various computer models (See FO DVOA and ESPN FPI). With the win, they're clearly still a big factor in the AFC. Sure, their season has seemed very Jekyll & Hyde, but they have the talent to make a run.

Here's one of the most prominent examples in Belichick's illustrious career.

Nonsense... I'm against going for 2 unless forced to do so and going for it on 4th down only when it makes sense. You and I disagree about when that is.

Belichick makes the SMART calls and this is something I've said consistently even though I dislike him. (intensely!)

Analytics has a place but at the moment in pro-sports its being over-used.

And finally what exactly is your basis for judging something if its not success/failure, (aka: results) oh great oracle?

😛

Welp, I may just have to fucking turn on the pinball machine and stop watching this shit.

Yeah this game is over .... and the Cowpie's look scary-good right now. Might as well say the NFL week is over too with the crappy game tomorrow night.

I'm still not 100% sold on Prescott but this is the best I've seen him play.

Not really surprised. D is basically the walking dead and the O-line is in shambles.

I have a vision of the NYG finishing them in the season finale....

I wouldn't say WFT is THAT bad. (also at this point I want draft-picks!)
Sorry, I know exactly the powers of Big Blue. When it's Washington...they win...

Is Jones coming back? I'll triple down if he's playing.

Your draft pick won't be as high as you want. 😛

Yeah but I mean you have to consider who he's going against.

Not making excuses but just stating facts, but WFT is completely depleted on defense due to covid and injuries outside of the line, which is still missing Young.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Nope ... done for the season.

Things are looking up for the rest of the NFC East though since at this point those idiots plan on bringing back both Judge AND Twinkle-toes Jones. (OMFG....)

Cowboys setting records and shit!

You know I love the Cowboys, but actually.....

Honestly the Cowboys could score more but I think theres a secret "gentlemen's agreement" amongst team owners once its a total blow out like this one.

And the highest score the Cowboys have reached in a game is: 59 in 1980

Not sure WTF that has to do with anything cause I never said they scored the most points ever, but they got on the leaderboards of some other records.

I despise the Cowpie's but credit where its due they're peaking at the right time. I give them a decent chance to win the NFC.

Parsons is probably the MVP of that D.
You can put him on the line or behind the line. That's not a common football player. Why the fuck did the other teams in front of Dallas not draft him.
He'll be a PITA for the rest of the NFC East for a decade or more....

2 things:

1. Firstly and most importantly, RIP Mr. Madden. Nobody had a greater influence on the game.
2. I knew judon had covid. Watching him on plays during the game, he had no energy. I wouldn't be surprised if 7 or 8 more people are on the list by end of week. Not the reason for the loss, just saying it was evident something was wrong

I think my first season actually finding the "football channel" was in 1998 or whatever was Frerotte's dumb celebration where he injured neck against the Giants...I was 9 years old something.
Madden's voice was THE VOICE of football. His delivery was utter perfection.

I wish they would release the uncut version of his documentary with full testimony. I doubt that's all he watched....or that was all those players, coaches, etc said to him....
