Interesting that there are 21 names on the list and only one of them (Portis) has not a received vote.

Peter King made a pretty compelling argument for Peyton in yesterday's MMQB, but I sure hope AP pulls it out.

heh, no one was even close in the voting. he deserved it, but i thought rivers might have gotten a few more votes than just 2
 
I was going to vote Peyton, but I think the Dolphins would be more worse without Pennington than the Colts would be without Manning.

Three straight. He "only" had 3,747 in 2005, a season in which he had a grand total of 14 pass attempts over the final two games, including only 2 in week 17.
 
I'd put Brian Dawkins on that list. Philly doesn't have the talent to be the league's #3 defense, but they are because of this guy's play and intangibles.
