I wonder where Dante is going. It would be tight to see Dante and Moss reunited.

He's going to Miami

:music:Welcome to Miami:music:

So the Giants look to have improved their biggest weakness; the secondary. They got Sam Madison and R.W. McQuarters, both great pick ups, pending physicals.

In Bill We Trust. The Pats always take their time during Free Agency. Rumor has it that Keyshawn Johnson is going to get released today, and Eric Moulds sometime this week. I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats took a shot at both of them.

Read my lips... he's going to Miami. Maybe New Orleans. Not Detroit. 😉

It's a catch 22 with the Lions

If he is injured, he WILL go to Detroit
If he is healthy, he will go elsewhere.

🙁

FIRE MILLAN!!! 😀

GO BENGALS!!!! 😀

So with Brees and Culpepper floating around out there who did the Lions just sign?

Wait for it...

Jon Kittna.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahah

Matt Millan just edged in front of Isaiah Thomas as the worst GM in all of sports.

Stupid stupid stupid...

He should have stayed in San Diego.

Chargers are doing what they can to push Phillip Rivers to the starter position. He's been riding the pine for a couple of years and you don't spend money on a first round QB to leave him sitting on the bench.

Cap status as of last Friday. (Probably none of it is accurate right now)

Under the salary cap
Team Cap status (under)
Green Bay Packers $35 million
Minnesota Vikings $30.9 million
Arizona Cardinals $28.9 million
Cleveland Browns $27.1 million
Philadelphia Eagles $26.1 million
San Diego Chargers $24.6 million
Jacksonville Jaguars $23.4 million
Dallas Cowboys $22.6 million
St. Louis Rams $22.1 million
New Orleans Saints $20.2 million
San Francisco 49ers $20.2 million
Detroit Lions $17.7 million
Seattle Seahawks $17.3 million
New England Patriots $16.9 million
Cincinnati Bengals $16.6 million
Chicago Bears $14.9 million
Buffalo Bills $14.1 million
New York Jets $14 million
Houston Texans $12.7 million
Atlanta Falcons $12.2 million
Denver Broncos $10.9 million
Baltimore Ravens $10.6 million
Carolina Panthers $10.4 million
New York Giants $9.9 million
Kansas City Chiefs $7.3 million

Pittsburgh Steelers $6.1 million
Tampa Bay Buccaneers $5.1 million
Oakland Raiders $653,000

Over the salary cap

Edit: Washington dropped five players on Saturday to get $7 million under the cap then signed Randle El.

Bah... Who knows after this weekend...

San Diego pushed Brees out the deal because they had Rivers sitting on the pine making a large amount of money.

that and he almost had his arm ripped off last year.

I couldnt be happier that the vikings have finally rid themselves of Dante. Its been painful watching that guy blow games and I can only remember one time where he brought the team back near the end of the game.

Good luck Miami. Now the Vikes need to find a Quarterback under 80

Vikings go rid of Culpepper, which was a fine move in my opinion. Sure they only got a 2nd rounder for him but they save a ton of cash. Now they can spend on the O-line. If they can get Hutchinson from Seattle, they just got Chester Taylor from Balitmore (who is far better than any of the RBs they currently have). They should be pretty decent next year since their D has had another year to gel.

brees to saints really changes the NFL draft.

Saints would be crazy to draft Matt Leinart now.

he will be demanding top dollar.

Looks like leinart has a very good chance to be reunited with norm chow as Titan

Or the titans might just draft Young for his relationship with Mcnair and the Jets profit by having leinart still on the boards. they've been rumored to be trying to move up the draft to secure Leinart.

either way someone is bound to be falling down the board.

Not that I disagree with you, but Millen and Marinelli did say that Joey was going to be the Starting QB, and they would be looking to the draft and FA for a "Backup" to compete for starter. AKA, dont want to spend any $$ on a QB

I look at it as a positive. It confirms I won't have to waste $300 on Sunday Ticket to watch the Lions games this year 🙂
