I don't understand why all these Patriots players are leaving the greatest dynasty of all time

I think there are a couple of reasons, some have been mentioned already but:

1. The players can get more money somewhere else. And as much as they say they love to play for a good team/coach/organiation/etc. they love money even more

2. The players think they can win somewhere else (like with the Colts)

3. The organization is getting a little to cocky and they think they can replace any player with any other player and still win as long as they have Brady and Belichick. Now I agree they are good, but you are losing a lot of heart with McGinnest, and losing a lot of clutch wins with Vinateiri.

Thats a good summation.

I think its a mixture of all of that. All you heard the last two seasons is how the Patriots can plug in any player at any position and win it seemed like. That starts to bother you if you're one of the players they're talking about.

My guess is Buffalo, with an outside chance at Oakland.

He wouldnt be a terrible backup, although I may still have my rose colored glasses on remembering the Oregon days.
