Damn, the ravens offense is as potent as a declawed kitten.

And they are leaving the damm defense out there seemingly forever against Manning, this sucks. Looks like another ho-hum playoff game, let's hope tomorrow's games fare better..

There's literally 10 commercials for every one football play.

i found that during the season ESPN was the worst about that. they would squeeze a commercial in anywhere they possibly could. even at the expense of showing some replay's. all the game for my home team were on FOX so i cant really compare it to CBS, but FOX would stay during some timeouts and just have the announcers talk. it was nice cause they would show some replays and stats and then get back to the game instead of trying to shove a 30 second commercial in there.

Turn out the lights...the party's over.

That interception killed any chance they may have had to do something.

I have been enjoying the "delicious ironing" of seeing the current Baltimore team play the former Baltimore team...the one that snuck out of town in the middle of the night. A win by the Ravens would have been a nice bit of payback...but they can't hold on to the ball, can't complete a pass to their own receivers...half the time, they can't even get back to the line of scrimmage.

LOL, payback -- ask Cleveland what they think about the Ravens. 🙂

Eight wins over the Ravens in a row. Call me when the Ravens are an actual threat to the Colts. Too bad Ogden retired -- I enjoyed seeing him get owned by Freeney every game.

Man, I haven't followed the Ravens for long but this seems to be another characteristic game of theirs; penalties, botched playes, and turnovers galore. As Shockysde said, the Ravens worst enemy is themselves.

Hey, no fair! At least the Browns got to keep their name, history, and records. Plus, the Browns->Ravens didn't happen in a scramble under the cover of darkness.

Take the Ravens +6.5

Yeah, yeah, yeah -- the excuse is old. Baltimore took the team or more specifically, Cleveland lost it by refusing to build a new stadium. Sound familiar (aka Baltimore with the Colts)? Also, the Colts left in the middle of the night because there was a very good chance the Maryland legislature was going to try to seize them via eminent domain the next day. If it were my team, I would've done the same thing.

Besides that, that happened under the old owner -- Bob Irsay, who was a clueless old jackass. Thank god his son took over and has made the team a perennial contender.

Baltimore fans need to get over it for Christ's sake. They took Cleveland's team and no matter what technicality you want to use, the Cleveland Browns ceased to exist for several years due to Baltimore.

At least the Colts/Pat's game earlier this season was exciting, this was a joke. Maybe the Colt's "D" is a little underrated now, they seem to step it up for the playoff's..

Yeah, the Colts D played very well. I am under no illusion though -- if the Chargers win, the Colts are probably in trouble. It doesn't matter how good or bad the Chargers are in a particular year, they ALWAYS seem to have the Colts' number.

Besides the information from my friend who started getting me into football (obviously biased), I've only read about this on the wikipedia pages. I can't argue that maryland shot itself in the foot in their dealings with the Colts, but it at least makes a good excuse for a (one sided) rivalry.
Long story short I know the loss of the colts was in part due to legislative threats, but I'm going to overlook that because it's more fun to hate on indianapolis.

Hey, if you want to get "revenge," the rumors are that the Pacers might leave Indy. Please, take them! 🙂

Heh, I thought the Pacers were brothers or something until I looked it up. I think the DC area does decently in basketball, and I know the caps have a significant lead in their division. Too bad we have heartbreakers in the sport I used to follow (baseball when I was a kid) and the one I'm getting into.

blanghorst, I'm not a Baltimore fan...never have been. But I've always thought the way the Colts left was pretty low rent...but I also remember WHY it happened. The problems were on both sides of the negotiations. Poor stadium, poor team...

I'm against these professional sports teams holding cities hostage for better stadiums. Don't like where you play? Build your own stadium/field/arena.

I actually enjoy watching Indy play...pretty decent team overall....MOST of the time.

Didn't Dan Snyder pay for Fedex Field? I think the roadways were paid for by the state, but I could be wrong. As much flak as he gets for his running of the team, I have to respect him for at least financing the stadium (if this is true; I'm going off of what my father told me).
