Minnesota > Dallas
Arizona > New Orleans
Baltimore > Indianapolis
San Diego > New York Jets

I was 2-2 last week (got Saturday wrong but Sunday right), so we'll see what happens this week.

I don't really have any vested interest in any of the AFC games, but I will root against the Colts for as long as Caldwell is coach. Giving away a chance at history like that is disgraceful, especially since they just pretty much forfeited a chance at a perfect season in front of their fans who paid good money to see them play. Also, I root against any New York team, so that's why I picked the Chargers. 😛

In the NFC, my big game is Minnesota VS Dallas. As a long-time Eagles fan, I don't want to see Dallas win (ever!), though it is tougher to hate on them now because they aren't nearly as arrogant and boisterous as they used to be with Irvin, Deion, etc. Still, it is Dallas! I'd like to see Arizona over New Orleans so we can have Old Man Warner VS Old Man Favre in the NFC Championship game. Any potential NFC Championship matchup would be interesting, but I'd much prefer Arizona at Minnesota.

It's too early to predict the Super Bowl, but I have a crazy pick nobody has ever thought of in mind. 😉

^^ Was that you and your buddy? 😛

None lost at home since 1978 until last Sunday. What's your point?

New England had a (good) streak going, which was broken by baltimore. Manning has a (bad) streak which could also be "broken" by baltimore. However, manning's streak is at odds with recent colts/ravens match ups, so one of them will have to give.

At any rate, it could be a tough game. The Colts are undeniably a far better team, but that doesn't guarantee anything.

I can agree the Colts have been better this season. I only care which team is better this weekend, though. If it's a blowout either way, I'll be sorely disappointed.

Kinda rooting for the cowboys even tho i like Favre

My idea of NFL nirvana is watching a great game and not really being overly attached to either team winning, that's gonna be me watching that game 🙂

If the Cowboys win, well, it's good for business and all, and they're my hometown team so that's fine. If the Vikings win, well good for Favre, it'd be pretty wild to see him win another SB, being as he did it thirteen years ago. Say what you will, the guy is one of the all-time greats, even if sometimes he makes you scratch your head.

Agreed.

I saw this in on a billboard during the drive to work and chuckled. Then again, I'm easily impressed. I wish I was actually this confident about the ravens, but I reckon I'll enjoy the game nonetheless.

Bump for game day.
Apparently the bet between Indiana and Maryland governors this week is the losing team's governor has to display the flag of the winning team on his governor's vehicle next week.

That'd be a helluva ride, but a lot of smart money does seem to be going to the Chargers for the whole show.

As a Charger fan, I'm pretty hopeful. I think this is the best chance of at least going to the super bowl for the next few years. Some people are predicting an easy win tomorrow, but I think it's going to be fairly close.

I really want the Colts to lose. Think I'll take Indy and New Orleans to win today though. Depends on which New Orleans shows up, the team that looked unbeatable against the Pats, or the team that lost to the Bucs. Anyways, we're in for some good games.

Anybody knows what's going with the Fox OTA HD channel? Seems like it fell off the face of the planet, all I get is the 11.2 FOX SD station.

I can't see the Saints winning... they haven't been a good time in a long time. I wish it was my Packers playing them, but I don't think it matters if it's the Cards or the Packers, I just don't see the Saints being able to win. Of course they have to play the game...

*edit - Prediction fail. :/

And I'll go with the Vikings over Dallas. I just see the Vikings being too tough at home for Dallas.

Those are my NFC picks. 🙂

Damn, open the floodgates! Could this beat the game from last week for total points scored? Looks like both teams will march down the field and score at will.
