and yet Jawan Taylor was allowed to get away with that multiple times during the game....I guess one guy from the Ravens offensive line missed a meeting this offseason about some new rules on legal formations.

Last year, São Paulo registered 4.2 murders per 100,000 people, one of the lowest rates in Brazil. In Philadelphia, the murder rate was six times as high, at 26.1 per 100,000 people, even surpassing the murder rate of 23.1 across Brazil, according to the Homicide Monitor, a database of government statistics from the Igarapé Institute, a research institute that studies security.
I think it's like this: Goes into endzone, touchback ball placed on the 30 (35?). Ball lands inside the 20, has to be fielded, but the kickoff team can't approach until the returner fields the ball. I think.
Can someone please explain the new kickoff rule, using small words? Because I just don't get it.
I wish they would go back to putting the ball on the 20. I like long drives. When the ball is spotted on the 30 under the new rule, one good play later and the offense is already at mid field. This isn’t basketball, for Pete’s sakeI think most teams would be satisfied with just kicking through the endzone and spotting the ball on the 30 instead of the 20. We'll see how most teams handle it Sunday. If the ball keeps getting kicked into the endzone they should just get rid of the kickoff altogether and just start at the 25 or something.
seriously. Fuck Peacock and all their plumes. No way I'm paying for streaming, even if I liked the teams playing.
Didn't they make tackling a QB while on the ground illegal? Like you can't reach for their legs while on the ground because of this exact issue?Jordan Love appears to have injured his knee, time to see what Malik Willis has to offer i guess
A lot of that had to do with the field conditions. They were slipping and sliding all over the place.Last night i was watching the game and thinking " These guys are playing at a very high level"
Tonight its like watching paint dry.
nah, there was nothing bad or illegal about that play, just bad luck, acl seems to be ok according to reportsDidn't they make tackling a QB while on the ground illegal? Like you can't reach for their legs while on the ground because of this exact issue?
I swore they implemented a rule after Brady got hurt along these lines…nah, there was nothing bad or illegal about that play, just bad luck, acl seems to be ok according to reports
I don't know but perhaps the distinction is "getting hit" below the knees. In this case, the would-be tackler tried to grab his lower leg.I swore they implemented a rule after Brady got hurt along these lines…
Ugh, fucking hate the Chiefs... that was a brutal ending to the game. I still don't understand "swifties". If a singer from my favorite band or something else attended games, I would have zero interest they were there or showed them. So I don't get the logic of showing her.
