Added poll for your pick of the SB 59 winner. Top 9 teams are listed from the current BetMGM odds. Sorry, Cowboys fans. 😛

Niners had a bit of a turbulent off-season but bring back arguably the best roster in the NFL. It's really championship or bust for Kyle Shanahan and Co.

Season kicks off tomorrow in KC where the Chiefs look to achieve three-peat immortality.

Lions to win it all!

Athletic has them ranked just behind the Chiefs to start the year in their power rankings, i'm not used to this

Tossed in my vote for the 9ers. Yea, its pretty much SB or bust for them this year. No way they keep that core after this season. Just too expensive.

Jacksonville would be my troll underdog pick, 2nded by the Packers.

Chiefs would be the safe pick. Kyle Shanahan's got that "curse" about him, or he was just dumb putting a guard in pass pro instead of CMC'ing it in prime scoring position.

Ravens need to figure themselves out. They went pass happy for whatever vanity reason you can guess....

Damn this vp on the commanders spilled what he really thinks of the NFL, to an undercover reporter he met on hinge and I guess thought was his date. He talked mad shit about the NFL to an undercover reporter he met on hinge, and I guess thought was his date 😯

I think there's definitely a healthy chunk of Truth in some of his statements.

Usually the cap figures in the first year of mega deals aren't so bad. The Niners can still be very good next season after paying Purdy.

However, the window for contention is incredibly hard to keep open and they've already kept it open for much longer than normal. In this century, teams that lose the Super Bowl often hit rebuilds sooner rather than later. The 49ers have been a rare exception, but they are definitely running out of time.

Lots of truth IMO, even if he was just trying to impress his date. 🤣

My heart wanted to vote Packers, but I just couldn't jinx my own team. I've liked the Chiefs, as a non-fan, in recent years but they're now showing to be insufferable assholes. Virtually every contender has flaws so I voted for the least flawed one: 49ers.

James O'Keefe, huh?

you know you should take salt on this

This is a Snyder/Wright era guy so I don't even care what he said.

We also don't know how long ago that video was taken. He talks about the "poo water" which was an incident that happened when Snyder owned the team, so it could be from 2 seasons ago.

Maybe. But calling out some in the NFL for being homophobes or racists is kind of low hanging fruit. Duh.

That date better be a smokeshow reporter.

It was probably that other (the one that paid the former Navy SEAL to claim Elizabeth Warren fucked him so hard it gave him scars - and thought that would harm her politically :tearsofjoy:) dipshit's girlfriend (he tried making his girlfriend makeup claims about Joe Biden), or was that guy in drag (which a LOT of right wing guys sure seem to like doing).

Republicans really are a special kind of fucked in the head. Nothing that guy said is news or really controversial other than it just looking bad that they're an employee saying what everyone else already knew. What's next, they'll go undercover to get clips of Charles Barkley trashing someone, probably Republicans, whilst acting like its some megabombshell.

Actually there is one thing to pick on there, and probably stems from them working for the team formerly known as the slurs, if they think Jerruh runs the NFL, then why can't he get a Super Bowl win? Its worse than that, he can't even sniff the conference championship game anymore, often losing in embarrassing fashion. His team is a fucking joke and everyone knows it. I mean, people talk about the Browns being a legit contender more than the Cowboys, and that's been for several years now, despite the Browns being the browns. I wish brown people would get them to change the name, hopefully to something more fitting, like the shit-stains/skids.

The Cleveland Steamers?

Hoping Baltimore pulls out a win tonight. Also, it's good to see the fake ass bullshit NFL get called out when someone with real access gets candid when they think they are off the record. Can't stand a lot about the NFL business wise; I do like the sport though.

Man I've been watching like 15 minutes of the pregame show and I think I'm totally over NFL sports announcing. There's some good analysis in there sometimes but it's just a bunch of clowns crowing and sounding like empty head type jocks

Ugh, fucking hate the Chiefs... that was a brutal ending to the game. I still don't understand "swifties". If a singer from my favorite band or something else attended games, I would have zero interest they were there or showed them. So I don't get the logic of showing her.

I guess one guy from the Ravens offensive line missed a meeting this offseason about some new rules on legal formations.
From what I understand, it isn't a new rule, but teams were told refs were going to be enforcing it more this year. Something about you can't line up behind the inside guy's waistline or something like that.

What I don't understand is how the Chiefs tackle was only called for one false start. That dude was moving way before the snap on I'd say +50% of the plays. It was even called out by Collinsworth and Tirico saying they missed it once.
