9ers are -9.5 points against the Pack. If I were a betting man I'd take the points. That spread is too high IMO. The Pack are playing some great football and I think it'll be high scoring, but much closer. Although it may rain, so that'll affect the passing game. Weather is spotty though and will be off and on instead of downpour, at least as of this morning.
Kudos on the call, but game was too close for comfort. Going into the 4th while behind is practically a death sentence for the 9ers but they broke the curse.

Packers had a shit kicker.

Love went bad Favre at the end, probably due to that kicker screwing with his brain.

Well, it won't be long before the Packers reclaim the NFC North. They just have some ironing to do.

I'll say that love or hate Aaron Rodgers...his play has habituated fans to a lack of interceptions from the Packers QB.

Love certainly chucks more than Rodgers, but he's not a crazy chucker Favre was. He might be 10 INT a season guy rather than the 6-8 of Rodgers.

Yeah. The Packers 100% showed up and deserved to be there.
The Niners were apparently very rusty, and I think they'll play much better next week against a likely cupcake. Deebo's status could be a factor, of course.

The Packers left TONS of points on the field, and that's mainly why they lost. Quite frankly choking over the final 7 minutes is a lot more painful than just getting run off the field.

But like I said, once ATOT's resident prognosticator picked the Packers, I knew they were doomed.

not a chance, haha.

I think SF likely has an easy road to the SB now, rinsing off the dust of yesterday, and assuming Purdy gets his shit together (he looked not very great yesterday, despite some fucking brilliant strikes, like that one to Kittle, just dialed the fuck up--but he's still throwing short and low to his open guys too often, and 2? what-should-have-been easy interceptions for GB last night. Rain, yes, but...he's going to need to step it up in sub-optimal conditions).

Goff was pretty fucking terrible last week, tbh, and I don't see either of those teams beating SF next week.

Baltimore is certainly dialed in right now. I'm curious about Buffalo tonight, as I honestly don't give KC much of a chance with how they've sort of been backing into the post season. Still, should be a banger, though I give Buffalo with the way they are playing right now the best chance against Baltimore.

..is it possible that little Harbaugh was interviewing for the Washington job this weekend? I know he was in town on Friday to speak at the "march for life" event full of losers (fucking gross, and really disappointing for that guy, but whatever) and the Sunday game of course; but I haven't really been following and it seems that according to Aikman, he's done-zo at Michigan? That's surprising to me, as I thought that would be his life job if he wants it. Is he being pressured out or something due to shenanigans? Or is this just wish-casting from the ABC announcers?

You're were expecting a dead on arrival initially(before my prediction), not a tragic thrill ride.

I don't like Jared Goff as a QB but he's getting some filthy consistent results...

And Chase Young sucks like the bust that he is; Jared small hands has nothing to fear from Chase Young. Yes to Nick Bosa to some extent, but it will be a battle between Sewell and Bosa.

It's a long shot, but the 49ers are no superteam. They are piloted by a system QB who needs McCaffery and Deebo or else he cracks. Purdy is a souped up Tannehill or Hurts.

Can't disagree about any of this. 😀

I've been a fan since day 1, but the Bucs are not winning the SB this year. If the division wasn't a shit show, they'd be watching the playoffs with the rest of you.

The Mrs. used to get free tickets as a work perk, for both the Bucs and Jags. I've seen them both play live many times. Only regret is never seeing Lee Roy Selmon play at the big Sombrero. :disappointed:

I don't know what this blaming GB's kicker bullshit is about. It was SF's special teams sucking ass that was the only reason the game was close. Allowed a near touchdown on a return which quickly led to a TD. Also had a FG attempt play only the tip, just to see how it feels. Otherwise the game isn't even close. SF's D denied any score in the red zone early on too, by stopping a 4th and 1. There's your 3 points, you can thank a bad play call/coaching.

Take away Thomas' mistakes and the game would never have been as close as it was. That dude single handedly almost lost the game.

Bucs had a nice drive to end the first half and were moving it in the third quarter, but they keep forgetting to block a blitzer almost every drive it seems, in the last case it was Hutchinson himself. wtf.

The only time I’ve ever rooted for TB was in their Super Bowl win over Oakland in 2003…and that was mostly because Al Davis had fired/traded Jon Gruden to TB…and he came back and beat his former team.

That said, this has been a pretty good football game, but it looks like Dee-Troit wants the win a bit more.
