If you guys hate the exclusive streaming thing this year, just do what you already did years ago when the NFL tried this shit with their completely unwatchable "NFL Network."

....where's that Network now?
On channel 588 on FIOS. I'd still much rather have TNF on NFL Network and having to watch it on Amazon Prime.

I can't use the legit subscription i payed for out of country so it's been nothing but shitty pirated streams on my barely high speed connection (5mbs) it's been a frustrating couple of months trying to watch NFL

/every vpn i have tried is blocked 🙁

I dropped Spectrum and signed up for Youtube TV to add Sunday ticket. I added RedZone at the same time to try it out. I want to cancel RedZone but since I added it with Sunday Ticket, it looks like I have to drop all 3 and then re-join Youtube TV.

Enjoyed the Giants whupping the reeling Eagles in a meaningless game for blue, as the Iggles enter their playoffs with even worse momentum, and now get a worse seed and not a home game. Don't mind losing one draft position for that. I watched most of the game and man the Giants put on a clinic.

I do wish that putz Tommy Cutlets lost two of the three games he won that we had no business winning, and we'd have a top 4 pick right now. Fuck that goombah.
You're in perfect position for pass rusher 1337 in NYG history because that is NYG football, so quit complaining.

I don't mind Rivera so much...but I guess it's pretty obvious now that is previous success was a bit reliant on Newton, McCaffrey, Olsen, Smith, etc....
He is an awful coach. His record here was like 26-40-1. And we have the 2nd pick AGAIN. He honestly left the organization in a worse position than when he got here. Basically all of his 1st round draft picks sucks and don't even have all of them anymore, because they aren't good. He's not a good talent evaluator. He sucks.

He's a great person though.

Ron Rivera might have played linebacker...never could find a good one.

Sticking with Del Rio was dumb and Ron also had no talent in scheme. Washington had the most points against of all NFL teams and the D loved being immaculately consistent in giving up big TDs every single week.

Rivera is also a softy, a friend of the players, not a drill sergeant, and that is part the reasons the team was never consistent. He was so soft he was concerned about Bienemey being too hard on offensive players.

you mean like every other successful head coach in any professional sport?

Commanders interviewing him for head coach.
In your opinion, is that good or bad?

If you must get your fix from Peacock and are willing to sub for a year, you can save a bit of money:

I don't really have an opinion on it. I'll let the new owner and his people group of hopefully smart people make the decisions and see how it plays out. It's just nice to NOT have Snyder doing this crap anymore. Ideally I'd like them to have a GM who decides the coach, and so would the new owner per his press conference yesterday, but he made tons of good points about the good coaches (and football people in general) getting snatched up quickly, so they may not have that luxury.

I will say though I wouldn't be a huge fan of bringing Belicheck here though. I am ready for having a coach that is on the younger side of things.

Up until fairly recently I had Peacock Premium for "free" (lol) from Xfinity because I have their internet.

Now it's $2.99 (?) per month for the first year ....I'm paying it at the moment for the NFL but once that's over so am I.

I hope they are just going through the motions with regards to Vrabel or he's there only temporarily to purge out the bad apples.

I'm not expecting Harris to be any different than his other excursions. The Washington team might seen a few 10 win seasons but no Super Bowl, which is better than the garbage there now.

I love my Bills. Been a non-stop fan since being a kid in the OJ days! I hope they make the bowl this year. I really do. Every BB game I watch I drink a bottle of JB.
It's massive that they ripped the division title from the Fins, as they could potentially host two playoff games now. I'm far from convinced that the Ravens are a lock for the Super Bowl. As unpredictable as the NFL playoffs are now, compared to say 30 years ago, I suspect that either the Niners or Ravens will not make the SB.

If you look at computer models such as ESPN FPI, only 4 teams have significant championship equity:
Niners
Ravens
Bills
Cowboys

Everybody else is a long shot.

I don't think it was the best thing to rest Lamar Jackson for last weekends game. That will be 3 full weeks of no live games until he is in the most important game of his career. I know the weather was terrible for that same on Saturday, but I dunno, I still feel like he should have gotten a few reps in there since it was basically a playoff game for the Steelers so it could have helped him mentally.

I think the top 2 are the teams to beat, but I'd take the Lions and Browns if the odds were nice.

Two series would have made sense. In the past, Lamar has been contained in the playoffs so it'll be interesting to see if he exorcises those demons.

But on the flip side, you had the decision by Nick Sirianni to play some of his starters in what appeared to be a meaningless game, and it blew up in his face.

They're certainly the teams to beat, but any tournament is a crap shoot. Chances are one of the two gets upset along the way. Also, Lamar Jackson has to defeat his past playoffs history.

The Niners are widely considered the best team standing but even they had rough spots during the season.

It wasn't meaningless. If the Eagles won and the Cowboys lost, the Eagles would have won the division and be playing at home.

I knew that (and wrote "appeared to be"), and we both know there was almost no chance the Cowboys were losing their finale after the refs gifted them the division the week before.

Unless I'm mistaken, Jalen Hurts has been injured for weeks (if not months), so he was a prime candidate to get the week off. And if you're doing that, then you would have rested AJ Brown as well. Honestly I don't think it's a huge mistake the direction that Sirianni chose; it just blew up spectacularly in his face. The Eagles had been slumping, and slim division title odds aside, Sirianni wanted to change the mojo in the locker room.

As you noted, Lamar is a different case because they're getting the bye week. I would've played him for two series.

The last time the Ravens rested for three weeks, you could tell there was rust and that plays that used to be routine were slightly off timing wise.

The game speed cannot be emulated in practice.

In fact I'm hard-pressed to think of any time 100% "resting" starters (barring injured QB's) has paid off in recent history.

I can recall it blowing up in teams faces more than once though!

Coaches are fucked. Play starters and they get hurt, they get buried. Rest starters, come out flat and take an L, buried. Best bet is to play a drive or two then pull, but even then players can get injured.
