Ah, Josh Allen's year this year is basically the Cell Saga. As reality eeriely reflects fiction.

He'll lose this season just like Vegeta got to see Trunks killed.

Refs did kind of job the Bills but they had the game won....

but what does the scouter say about his power level?

Refs were all around unimpressive, but I don't think they jobbed the Bills. There were a couple of really weak calls that went in favor of the Bill's, especially that less roughing the passer penalty, which was super weak.

Dang, if even you're saying that about Buffalo, then it's not just my biased opinion. Heh.
I could have sworn there was at least one false start on that final drive. I thought one occured on the second-to-last play. But Allen did get intercepted, and that's all on him.

Oh, I can be objective even with virulent hatred.

I never denied Allen was elite. But...not as good as the hype wanted him to be. 😉

Vegeta is an elite fighter in his show...he just mananges to always lose despite being at par with Goku. 😉 😉

Giants win another squeaker with Tommy DeVito at QB , welfare check on @MrSquished might be needed
Dude these fucking guys are painful!

I don't want them to tank but just do what we all know you're capable of, losing while still trying to win. Instead you're barely squeaking by absolutely shitty teams in terrible, ugly games, and getting smoked by any decent team. It's not helping lol

You guys are boring. Blue is about pass rushers, not offense or quarterbacks. So destiny has it that Thibedoux will have a partner in sacks.

Let face it folks .... the 2023 Giants suxors. (overall) 🙁 Still a win is better than a loss despite the potential draft pick consequences. *(especially to traitor Beli-cheat... who has won NOTHING sans Brady's specially inflated balls)

IMO "tanking" is inexcusable and tantamount to cheating. 😡 It ruins football.

Defense was the direct reason (along with a couple "near-miracle" level individual plays) the Giants won their last couple rings. 1990 was 99.9% defense. 1986 was actually a well-rounded team but it had a killer D as well.

Look at the 1990 NFC Championship game vs the "mighty" 49'ers .... that Big Blue took WITHOUT scoring a TD!

1989-90 Niners roster .... that we kept OUT of out the endzone:

Ah, so you agree. 😉

How many spycams and comfort women spies did the Giants employ to win that game? I'll bet many a shamrock was ritualistically sacrificed as well.

Your 2000 loss was also a failure to outdefense another defense. 😉😛

You guys lost the Chase Young sweepstakes...but it came out as win for NY and a literal bust for Washington.

2000 we got our butts kicked by a MUCH better team. (especially on D AND @ head-coach)

Strangely I think the Giants might have had a chance in that game if they "danced with who brung em" .... in other words if they had stuck to what they were good at rather than trying to out-muscle Baltimore which was never going to work.

Believe it or not I was proud of that Giants NFC Champ team though .... at the time it felt like they overachieved.

I'm sure Trent Dilfer would be pleased to hear he was much better than Kerry Collins. /sarcasm 😛

Holy hell that game was AWFUL to watch last night. It was like they had their scout O in for both teams the entire time.

Not a surprise. You have a guy who doesn't know the playbook and a guy who appears to be a bust.

And it might be the Pats who win the tank battle at the end of the season.

9ers are favored (last I read 1.5 pts) against the Iggles and the refs at the Linc. I got the Iggles 35, 9ers 24, with the 9ers committing +8 penalties, at least 5 of them resulting in automatic first downs. The Iggles will maybe get 2 penalties called of the 5 yard variety, encroachment or false starts. Who ya got?

Iggles are one of the most vulnerable 10-1 teams I have seen. It's more likely to be something like 27-24, Niners.

Iggles vs Whiners will be a close game.

Generally speaking, home team gets +3 points in the calculations. So for the Niners to be favored against the Eagles by 2.5 in some places and 3 in others means that Vegas thinks the Niners are better than the Eagles by 5.5 to 6 points.

This is a HUGE game and potentially decides who gets the #1 seed in the NFC. This could be the conference championship right here.

Niners have an easier schedule, but have more losses than the Eagles. Niners win would knock the Eagles down a peg, and the easier Niners schedule gives them an opportunity to either have a better record, or with a tie, the Niners would have the tiebreaker.

Eagles have a tougher schedule, but less losses. They've had some quality wins in the last few weeks. A win against the Niners means they have a stranglehold on the #1 seed. They would hold most of the major tiebreakers with the Niners and Cowgirls. Especially if the Eagles go on to beat Arizona. Dallas already has losses to both Niners and Cardinals, so if the Eagles beat both of those teams, it's a wrap on at least the divisional crown, and most likely the #1 seed even if Dallas beats the Eagles in their next game.

If they can give Brock time in the pocket I think they can beat the Eagles. I think they can keep the Eagles to or under 28 points and win by 3-ish.

Yea my post was more snark about the Eagles being one of the least penalized teams but after doing a bit of research, while they're in the top 5 if being least penalized, they've got more penalties than the Raiders which is just crazy. Realistically I'm pulling for the 9ers obviously and I think it'll be a closer game. 31-28 9ers is my guess.

It annoys me to say it since I'm a Niners fan, but I think the Eagles have an edge here, especially if it starts raining a lot. The offense struggles in the wet, and since Purdy isn't known to be a running QB it limits the playbook even more, imo. If the Eagles get a lead, it's even worse because Shanahan has historically struggled to adjust when the Niners are playing from behind.

This isn't really true anymore. Vegas uses complex algorithms to determine the betting lines, and different home fields will even have a different value, but none of them are as big as 3 points. It's more like ~1.5 these days.
