Nexus 6 might be too big for me. Any good "smaller" phones out there?

Are you only looking at android? The iphone 6 is 4.7" and available in 64GB and even 128GB.

Whatever you may think of iOS, at least Apple doesn't gimp the crap out of any phone under 5"

yea only android. Tried to use an iphone a few times but couldn't do it. Plus I use google services so it wouldn't make much sense for me.

Too bad because if I could get an iphone5-6 form factor android with better battery and good specs id be all over it. Then again I can see myself getting used to the massive screen of the OPO - so who knows.

If you need CM so badly then get a phone which runs CM natively. If you get something which runs on its own Android skin (Sony, Samsung, HTC etc.) then don't expect them to give you all the bells & whistles of CM (to whatever extent those exist) Cyanogen anyway, you'll always lose some features, unless you don't use a phone really seriously.

Ideally I would want a nexus that runs stock android. CM is the next best thing for me - which is why I went with the OPO.

Cant I make CM look like just plain stock android? Ive seen some videos of the OPO and not sure if i like the theme. And how stable are nightlies of lollipop on the opo? Not sure how I feel about going back to 4.4 after using 5.0.

ok so after researching, pretty sure im gonna pick up a oneplusone, since its by far the best deal. My only concerns are:

1. Im used to lollipop, and dont wanna go back. What is the status of lollipop on this device? I saw CM released a nightly, but is that how updates are on this phone?

2. Cyanogen skin. I really like just plain old boring stock android. Is there a way I can flash this? Or make cyanogenmod look/work like this?

3. quality control. Ive heard some bad stories, but not enough that are gonna keep me away from buying. But it is a small worry.

Official Lollipop comes out next month.

One of the available themes in the settings is Android Holo. I'm not sure if this is the plain stock Android theme or not though.

I think the newer versions of the phone have fewer of the QA issues. I haven't had any issues and I think my production date was Oct 2014.
