They should set it during the Revolutionary War. 1 bullet flintlock rifles, 2 minute reload times where you must remain stationary, etc, the complete polar opposite of today's FPS.

I can already feel the sweat drop falling from my forehead as I clench the rifle and pray for the bullet to go forward.

I remember seeing an advertisement for MW2 last year and there was a short clip of the part where you're in space and get blown up by the nuke. And I thought there would be an actual space mission, not just "look around for one minute and then die."

Guess I should be careful what I wish for.

I really hope this happens. Activision needs to be taught a lesson. They can't just keep slapping "Call of Duty" on every shooter that IW and Treyarch make to try and get more sales. IMO, they should have gone with a different name after CoD : 3 when they changed from WW2.

Infinity ward wanted to change the brand when they were developing the original Modern Warfare, and they were told "NO!"

Yup. The original name was going to be Modern Warfare and that was it. Since Activision completely controlled them they couldnt say much when they slapped on Call of Duty 4 on it.

I stopped playing COD after COD 2, and even that wasn't as good as the first and the UO add-on.
