Hopefully Ghost won't be a disappointment like Black OPs II
I had more fun in BO2 then most of the other CoD games this gen. If it had better maps it would have been better, but I still liked it more than BO1 and MW3.

We should redo this poll in light of the recent news....Would be interesting to see how things stack up now.
It does change it for me. I will go with Xbox and wait for a price drop on PS4.Doesn't change it for me. I'll still have PS4 first.

True, this is the one thing I forgot in all this stuff. The Xbox is still less powerful, and now you have to wonder how good games will run if they can't use the "power of the cloud" if people aren't connected.Yep, same. Cheaper launch cost, and more powerful hardware with x86 architecture gives me hope that many PC developers will also release games on the PS4.

I just wonder how long it will take before we actually see the extra power of the PS4 being used. My guess, 3-4 years down the road. Even if the architecture is similar to a pc, I still don't see developers mastering it and pushing the console to the limits right away, so I don't think this is going to be a very big deal for quite a while.I guess if there's a game you have to have the system for sure. PS4 still has the better hardware and slightly lower price point allowing for me to get an extra game.

Without the abilit to revote, this poll is useless. A lot of people probably switched over the XBone.
MW3 and BO 1 are alot better than Bo2. Had to many problems out of the gate
I very much liked BO2 the most of any CoD game ever made. MW3 was the worst I had played.
Not sure if anyone ahs psoted this power comparison between platforms.
I still think the majority will be getting a PS4
I've been an xbox fan for 10 years now so i was a pretty loyal fan but i still had PlayStations also just didn't playem as much and after E3 xbone announcement i wanted to send a big fat screw you letter to Microsoft but since doing the 180 i'm inclined to getting one next year so i can see how things pan out for themI agree, though the numbers are probably closer to 60/40 now. Which is great, more competition in this 'war' will lead to quicker price drops and hopefully more innovation and great releases. And then there's the probability that many that go with one or the other first will often grab the other console as well.
I sometimes run into the PS3 or 360 fanboy who refuses to play the other console out of some bizarre loyalty or hatred, but I think people like that just lose out.
I was completely ready to boycott the Xbone entirely, but the DRM reversal has given me reason to drop that. I am not preordering one, and probably won't get one until they hit $299 or less + a large library, but I will at least consider one now.

i know a couple people who reuse to even play a PS3 for whatever reason. They can never articulate a proper reason either, usually it's just "ps3 sucks" or "xbox is better". It's really strange. I didn't play my 360 that much over the last few years because the exclusives weren't that great to me. I played most multiplatform titles on PC when applicable so any benefits of PS3 over 360 or vice versa were negated. I did prefer the PS3 controller for action games because i find offset analog sticks awkward sometimes. At least I had some valid reasons to prefer one, but yeah someone who is really a gamer at heart would be cheating themselves to go the route you speak of.
