While conservatives might insinuate that people are changing genders just to be good at sportsball, I will not. I have no idea what level of competition it begins to matter, but certainly at the highest levels of competition it doesn't make any sense to me that trans females should be allowed to compete.

From a purely utilitarian perspective, I tend to look at benefits vs. negatives. Until someone can explain to me otherwise, the number of women negatively affected outweigh whatever benefits a trans female gains by potentially dominating female sport. A trans female can do anything they want in life except compete to be the best at female sports. Is that an outrageous constraint? I think it's a reasonable constraint.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make by posting what I presume are trans males. AFAIC anyone can attempt to compete in male sports all the way to the highest levels as long as they're not taking otherwise banned steroids or whatever.
I guess the made up outrage conservatives use to win elections because it makes such deep common sense means we need to create an alternative reality where no such problems exist. Hell, nobody is effected by transgenders competing in women's sports. The horse you ride doesn't care about the sex of the rider and athletic associations can decide. Meanwhile I just can't seem to shake the notion that men competing against women in women's sports doesn't feel right and no logic seems to change that. I'm going to continue to agree with people like you who seem to me to state the obvious. I guess Democrats are so full of self hate they love losing elections. Favoring minorities over whites and wanting to disband the police force isn't going to cost any votes either. I guess only stupid people think ahead as to the consequences of what they say and how it will be twisted. Trying to use logic to counter moral instincts is imbecilic in my opinion.

Look guys, requiring people to carry health insurance is tyranny and not the proper role of government.

If nothing else this distracts from the government’s actual responsibility of examining the genitals of children before they engage in meaningless competition.

This all sounds ridiculous, because it is. Conservatives - you have a lot of growing up to do.
You have a lot of growing up to do to think you can counter the feeling your son should not be competing against my girl in meaningless competition.

No, I’m employing common sense.

The government does not need to examine my child’s genitals so they can participate children’s sports. I can’t believe I even need to say something this obvious.

People have lost their minds.

Conservatives are just trying to open a new frontier on child abuse.

Twenty years ago if it were the plot of a movie where people seriously said that in order to play sports a child needed to have her vagina verified by a doctor it would have been laughed at.

Sometimes I wish people would take a step back and think for a second if what they are saying is utterly batshit crazy. That they need to grow up os probably the wrong term as even a child would realize that’s nuts.

You don’t need to say it. It is obviously so. People have lost their minds and that is the problem. The whole stupidity of competition raises the issue of fairness which is also a moral issue. Every moral issue can be made into a political wedge by evoking fear that someone is putting their hands on the fairness scale and pushing for immoral positions.

In such a case feeling rather than logic prevail, it is simple unavoidable that people will feel that allowing boys to compete against girls is unfair.

Your insistence that government not inspect children, as true as it is, will not be the question that matters for most people. A sense of fair play is innate in people and that innate sense will be triggered by the wrongness of boys competing against girls more than by the abstract truth of what you say.

The way to respond to conservatives using natural moral instincts in their favor is to avoid anything that snacks of contradicting them. They are always fabricated in the first place to bate the other side. Don’t oblige them. Just answer that it’s obvious that boys should not compete with girls but they bring it up to deflect from talking at the behest of their masters who don’t want to have fair tax laws. That’s where the real injustice is. They are talking shit to protect a few rich men from not competing fairly with not just women but most of us.

The answer is to ask what is the biggest problem, boys in girls sports or that a few people have more money than the combined wealth of over half of the population.

You want to reason with people who are fucked and feeling rage. I think they need their attention directed to who is really fucking us.
