Back in-stock at Newegg now. Rumors for shortages put to rest now.

Looks like Newegg deleted it from its website again. So, we can panic on shortages again. G4560 might be already discontinued. Newegg always delete one item if it's discontinued.

Well, it's back at Newegg, this time, from Beach Audio, for $69.xx, with qty. discounts available, down to $61.xx. Sounds like a plan, if you need one badly enough. If I had spare change, I'd buy 5-10 of 'em.

And at least one customer was turned off enough by this "shortage" by Intel on the G4560, that they went with Ryzen instead.

It's all third-party sellers now. Newegg don't have them in-stock now, and I'm not sure if it's really discontinued.

There's rumors that there is no dual-core CFL-S die, so the Pentium w/HT chips, are going to still be some sort of KBL variant. My question is, are these CPUs going to be limited to 1151V2 / Z370-only, or will these also work in 100/200-series boards, since they're not CFL-S proper?

Depends on which vendors do UEFI updates. They may be technically compatible, but . . .
