Damn he went a full week without being in the news

McCarthy is doing every thing possible to keep Santos out of sight and mind except whenever he needs Santos to cast a vote that accomplishes whatever MTG and her Magat buddies have in mind. That Kevin gave away the keys to the House to the loonies in his flock in order to be House Speaker will bite him in the ass hard sooner or later.

Lol doh he lost money this quarter. Scary there are morons who donated $5,000 to him. But he returned $8,000 back to donors.

George Santos’ Mysterious Campaign Loans Somehow Get Even More Mysterious

"But it’s his latest campaign finance report—filed just a few days earlier—that’s truly mystifying watchdogs, as Santos made yet another seemingly inexplicable change to a central question about his finances: How, and now when, did he loan his campaign hundreds of thousands of dollars?"

You know, I'm beginning to think this guy is not always totally truthful. 😱

Uh, he just announced his intent to run for re-election in 2024. Seriously?

The guy has some cahones. I'll say that for him.
I would say that the strength of his lies are rooted in his fear of the truth. Lies are always there to as an attempt to create an altered reality that convinces us we don't feel what we really feel. The deeper the sense of worthlessness and the more convinced of it's reality, the greater the status one pretends to have in that fantasy world, those lies, of course, that is that involve the ego. We can always lie to protect other people but we there we lie for the sake of someone else.

My understanding is that he's in it for the lifetime pension or something like that.
Figures...he's a two-bit conman. A lifetime government pension will be the score of his life (he's already in the highest paying job he's ever had right now, guaranteed). He's probably drooling about the sweet, sweet re-election campaign money grift as well.

Just looked this up. Found this from google .

"
Members of Congress first elected in 1984 or later are covered automatically under the Federal Employees’ Retirement System (FERS), unless they decline this coverage. Members covered by FERS also pay 1.3% of full salary to the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund. Members of Congress are eligible for a pension at age 62 if they have completed at least five years of service. Members are eligible for a pension at age 50 if they have completed 20 years of service, or at any age after completing 25 years of service. The amount of the pension depends on years of service and the average of the highest three years of salary. By law, the starting amount of a Member’s retirement annuity may not exceed 80% of his or her final salary. As of October 1, 2006, 413 retired Members of Congress were receiving federal pensions based fully or in part on their congressional service. Of this number, 290 had retired under CSRS [the pre 1984 system] and were receiving an average annual pension of $60,972. A total of 123 Members had retired with service under both CSRS and FERS or with service under FERS only. Their average annual pension was $35,952 in 2006.

According to Politifact.com, a three-term congressman would be eligible for $17,588 after six years of work upon reaching retirement age."

Ol' george has a long way to go.

It's bothered me. Trying to think WHO? does this Santos guy remind me of?
Then it hit me. George Santos looks like murderer Andrew Cunanan.
Andrew Cunanan, the guy who murdered Gianni Versace and four other people.
And the similarities?
Both pretended to be what they were not. Both lured people in by deceiving them.
Both were crooks. Both were criminals. And that look....
They both have that same god forsaken look about them.
One other thing, both of them had and have no morals nor a soul.
Talk about your SPOOKY!!! 😵

Other than his bone structure, face shape, hair line, brow line, eye shape, ear shape, jaw line, chin shape, nose and mouth, yeah he's a dead ringer.

Hopefully this is beginning of the end of this grifter and habitual fraud. One of the things that I hope Santos is charged with is defrauding a disabled U.S. Navy veteran's dying service dog creating a GoFundMe but never giving the guy the money for his dog. It takes a real A-HOLE to steal money from people down on there luck especially when it involves pets.

"The veteran, who couldn’t afford the surgery, said a veterinary technician took him aside and offered assistance via a pet charity called Friends of Pets United run by Anthony Devolder, an alias used by Santos in the past.

Devolder set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for Sapphire and once it hit its goal of $3,000, he closed and deleted the fundraising page and became hard to reach before he disappeared altogether, Osthoff told Patch."

On ABC national news tonight they said the charges are not known yet but it's possible he will be in court tomorrow and we will find out more. Rumor has it it involves $$$$$.

Thoughts and prayers? Mostly prayers

Seriously though ... Exactly what he has been doing and wants to keep doing – nothing. He doesn’t care if Santos gets convicted, he just wants to delay as long as possible any real pressure on Santos to resign. With a five vote majority (and a strong possibility the seat would flip D in a special election), his plan is to hem and haw and make noises about “letting the process play out”

13 charges, and they are for recent things. What a freaking idiot. Everyone is looking at you because they suspect you of lying and he continues to lie and put you lies in writing.

The charges

So...he's being charged for criminal conduct while in office? I guess that means McCarthy and GOP have no choice other than to circle the wagons and defend him all the way to prison. Can't wait until they go after the prosecutors again...
