There almost has to be some kind of mental illness going on with guy. His entire life is a scam. He's incapable of making a truthful statement, he appears to be devoid of any sort of moral or ethical compass, and he's stupid, really stupid. There has to be some brain damage or a golf ball sized tumor growing in his head.
Are we sure he isn’t a trump?

And have you called or written your congress person to have this clearly compromised person removed from his position?

Second Schiff censure vote goes through as Republicans try to save face from their failed Durham hearing today. No, he was not fined $16M but Schiff will be referred to the Lack of Ethics panel.

Sad day for America, but at least we got to see McCarthy go full cuck for his base.

This thing about referring Schiff to the Lack of Ethics Panel is hypocrisy taken to a level beyond the bounds of reality and into a category that exceeds fiction in its most generous defining.

Here we have the Trump Clan and their seditious treacherous enablers breaking rules and laws faster than the judicial system could ever hope to catch up with and the Repubs have the actual gall to drag Schiff into their world of lies, falsities and fantasy in order to what, create a fairy tale that the Democrats are just as criminally influenced and active as they are or worse? Really? Damn.

Pretty much how Tubberville is blocking military for something that isn't even true because of "feels".

The GOP had to adjust itself to Trump's critically damaging personality disorders while propping him up in their front store window showcase as the best thing to have ever happened in the history of America, all while demeaning themselves down into the gutters and sewers, leaving their ethics and morals behind them in order to commit to an enormous failed effort at controlling the damage that Trump was causing simply from being his simplistic minded authoritarian self. Ergo, as you've mentioned, everyone else with a higher level of intellect than Trump needed to be dumbed down to Trump's level of stupidity or lower and fake things up so that Trump could prove his assertion that in any room he enters he will be the smartest guy there.

The tragic beauty of this policy is that millions of conservative Americans were already dumbed down for Trump to scam his way into their hearts and vacant minds. And here we are, most of us shaking our heads at what the GOP has become and the folks who are members of the GOP shaking their heads back at us in a state of defiant conditioned stupor refusing to acknowledge what a mess they've made of the party in order to support (among so many of his other crimes) a known adulterer, tax cheat, law breaking thief of top secret gov't documents and Shit-Stirrer-in-Chief of the Jan.6 insurrection.

Some accountability is long overdue for him. Let's hope the buck doesn't stop with the staffer.

New superseding indictment on George Santos: "George Santos charged with defrauding campaign donors"

The charges, filed on Tuesday, build on 13 counts the New York congressman pleaded not guilty to in May. He was accused of laundering campaign funds to pay for his personal expenses and illegally claiming unemployment benefits while he was employed.
Speaking at the time, Mr Santos accused prosecutors of mounting a political "witch hunt" against him.

The new indictment alleges that he charged more than $44,000 to his campaign over a period of months using credit cards belonging to contributors who were unaware they were being defrauded.

On one occasion he charged $12,000 to a contributor's credit card, ultimately transferring the vast majority of that money into his personal bank account, the charging document says.

"Santos falsely inflated the campaign's reported receipts with non-existent loans and contributions that were either fabricated or stolen," Breon Peace, the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, said in a statement.

Is that likely to lead to him ceasing to be a Congressman?

Santos was indicted back in May, these are just additional charges added to that indictment.

*iRONic just posted the original thread above, this one is just a duplicate.

Their majority is already razor thin and his district is highly likely to go blue in the special election held after he resigns.

My personal suspicion is he's made a deal with whoever he's supporting for speaker to not support a vote to expel him so he'll probably remain in his seat until he loses next November.

NY House republicans are bringing expulsion articles to the floor right now.

Bye, Felicia.
