I am running my Epox 8K9A2+ at 13 x 145 = 1885 1.650vcore, with an Antec case with 3 fans blowing in, with a temperature of 89 degrees F on the diode with a new volcano 7+ at medium speed. My room temperature is 68-70 degrees F. My front side bus is limited, because I am running Crucial 2100 DDR. Hopefully, wife willing, I will be able to get XMS3500 in the future that will truly test this chip.
With all testing that I have done, I have been able to boot at a speed of 2.013Ghz. It booted in Windows with a 1.75V core voltage, and ran, but not too stable My Video card (PNY TI4200 64meg)need some tweaking lost the driver in windowXP some how?? Reinstalled and got it back. ( I couldn't play a complete session of Medal of Honor).
I wish you guys luck! I think this thoroughbred B is gonna be a winner!

Thanks for the updates CHJF. Yah I was in a similar situation back in early November, I got one of the first T-bred A's at 1700+, but didn't really have the rig to push it. It was an earlier week revision, so it didn't do that well, around 1.766ghz with my Crucial PC2100 and 8KHA+ (about the same as my 1800+ Palomino). Turns out the later revisions (Week 42 and later) did pretty well, getting 1.850ghz to 2.0ghz pretty easily. Hopefully others with higher rated memory get some B's as well, so we can get a better idea of what these guys can do. If the 2100+ I get is a B, I'm punching the throttle straight to 2.0ghz and going up from there 😀

Edit: Oh yah Tbates, from what I read, people were running more stable when they modded the L12 bridges, and it also allowed them to not mess with the wire trick, b/c being recognized at default at 166mhz gives you access to the lower multipliers rather than the higher ones (13x and greater). I'm not totally convinced both the highs and the lows are unlocked on Nforce 2 boards, I think it depends on the BIOS revision, but thats just one less thing to worry about. Also, I'm not sure if it changes any settings with the voltage, and maximum allowed voltages. I'm gonna research some more tomorrow before the chip arrives, but still don't plan to mod it before tweaking it. Thing that pisses me off is that Asus still hasn't released a totally unlocked BIOS, I updated to 1002 Beta and I think it may be a step back. Honestly, I think all of these different versions of T-breds are giving the Asus folks a tough time programming these BIOS. Looks like its back to 1001.E.
