Newegg's reviews is terrible, they have filered them complete, therefore every single one of them has words saying how good Newegg is.
Com'on, I read thoes reviews for the product, not for the store that's selling them.

DECLINED REVIEW
========================================================
I have to write carefully here...if you're into looks buy this case. If that's not too important then...
Pros: Looks, Good cooling
Cons: Try removing your power suply when the motherboard is installed - nearly impossible, very little working room - change your hard drive take out your video card, extremely loud fans - necessitates buying a fan controller or new fans - I bought an Aerogate 3 because it does not have any dials (case has a door).
If stolen would I buy this case again? No!!!!!
Reason for a 3? I am a computer enthusiast that upgrade evey six months. I have small to average hands and I have great difficulty getting to the motherboard and drives.

Sorry about not letting this post die, but all of us have been buyers at Newegg one time or another. The post in Hot Deals has been locked. Newegg has one of the best customer service in the business. That is something we all can agree on. As a community we do have some power to make them better. All I ask of Newegg are two things: one, stop playing the stupid shipping game and two, stop the heavy handed censoring of the reviews. I have made a conscious decision to purchase elsewhere if the pricing is the same as Newegg, if the internet store is a well regarded company, such as ZZF. I still believe Newegg is a good company. I just hope that through posts like this we can make them better.

I might buy an item with 0 reviews but no way on 3 or less stars and 5 certainly doesn't hurt

Normally what you have to be careful about is a product with no good review. If it does not have a review at all, then either no one purchased that item or it had no good reviews.

When you look at the review you can also see the rating and I dont know how they sometimes do not really match.

You gotta remember most of the time users will only post a review if they had a problem. All the people who didn't have problems usually don't bother.

The reply to my email to them about their review procedures:

Dear Doinmybestatlast,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding our review system.

Customer reviews submitted to Newegg are all manually posted on our website by one of our team members. Perhaps your review has not been read quite yet. The only reasons that I am aware that a review would not be posted is if it contained profanity or vulgar language, it stated information that was redundant and mentioned in another review, if it is penned by someone who does not have the knowledge to make statements pertinent to the item (i.e. -- a novice computer builder complaining about incompatibility, for instance), or if the reviewer is responding to or criticizing another review in an unnecessary manner.

Please note, however, that customer reviews are used at the discretion of Newegg as a marketing device for positive and constructive ways to share the benefit of a product. It is not used as a source for negative commentary as we cannot endorse the validity of any negative comment. Therefore, Newegg is moderated to remove any unproven biased negative comments.

I read them to see what oddities a certain part may have.... HS not fitting, loud fan, etc. but I take that at arm's length. Anyone who is serious should read reviews from respectable sites before dropping some plastic.

I've posted honest reviews without slamming the product or mentioneing other brands and it never got posted. What's strange is that some reviews state, "this product sucks" but the poste makes it to the page. They throw in just enough negavtive remarks to make them look logit.

Keep in mind the profit margin that we are not privilidged to; If brand A offeres a better profit on a board than brand B, then you can bet they will post more positive reviews for brand A to drive more sales.

What is confusing are the idiot posts from reviewers who give something 5 stars and only post a question like, "Does anybody know if is rev 1 or 1.1?" Maybe it gets posted because they gave it 5 stars and bumped the overall average.

Of course, reviews praising Newegg and Fed-X always seem to make it in the review when neither has anything to do with the product. It's just Fed-X saver. Drop a pound of sand in a box and ship it from CA using Fed-X saver and the delivery will be the same.
