I just chatted online with a CSR and confirmed that all items on the site are eligable.

I even made him repeat himself. Looks like it's the real deal, peeps.

When you checkout/login to paypal after the checkout page in newgg, you'll see 20% off discount promotion on the paypal invoice.
 
It's now been confirmed that the Paypal promotion on Newegg.com has ended.

Apparently they've already reached the dollar limit that Paypal set for their site. So much for "Good til the 28th"...

Where are you seeing this? Newegg's website still displays the 20% off.

 
Several other forums have users who are getting errors when trying to pay via paypal on Newegg. Someone contacted Newegg and were told the promotion is over.

This is on Slickdeals, for those wondering.

EDIT: Well, now looking on Slickdeals again, it appears it's still working on Newegg. People are taking screenshots to use as proof.

People are seeing on their paypal invoices. Therefore, yes, it works on all items.
 
The Paypal promo is DEAD as of 12:30 PST today....I got mine in just before that and talked with a NE rep a minute ago to verify....

The offer being no longer valid after 12:30pm pacific time and you submitted the order at 11:40 so your order should qualify.

I contacted Paypal, they said they are still running the promotion. They do not know why Newegg is saying that Paypal canceled it. I have been trying to make a payment via Paypal all day and it errors every time. I wonder if the merchants are paying part of the cash back promotion and too many jumped on it and they decided to arbitrarily cancel it.
 
Placed my order at 12:34 and the rep said it went through fine, and that I just made the cutoff which was at 12:47
They also said their system was not posting the credit properly but would in the near term and that I'd receive an email of the paypal discount

Gah, could this be more of a confusing mess? Anyway, it's $50. If I get it, great, if not .. oh well. I feel like I got a good deal at original prices, especially since the Western Digital 750AAKS was $30 off regular price. Moreover, I ordered this morning, and Newegg has shipped my entire order, which makes me very happy. Newegg rocks.

Same here. I got my order in early in the morning and was shipped today. I really hope the promo went through. I picked up a CM stacker case for 85 bucks after promo and rebate. That makes one killer deal, from 250 down to 85 bucks.
 
Zahira, I hope it goes through too. Especially for those who purchased during the time the 20% banner was up and active. To stiff those buyers now would border on illegal. Not to mention I told others about the promo, and they all made purchases based on the promo, and if they get stiffed on this, I'm going to come off looking a bit bad myself.

Maybe tomorrow, there will be some clarity regarding this mess.
 
This is one of the rare times I hate living in California. Tax and shipping pretty much negate the cash back.
 
Wow ... glad I decided to take another peek at this thread!

I ordered a $14 memory-card for my daughters cell phone earlier (but after 3:30pm EST) & if I don't get my $2.80 its no big deal, but if I'd placed the much larger order I was about to do & lost out on the full $50 rebate I'd be seriously pissed off right now!
