Do you think when they restock that they will do it with the G0 stepped processors, or will they still be B3s?
Intel was still manufacturing the B3s as of a couple of months ago I heard, I suspect it'll be at least a month before the supply is run dry.Originally posted by: aka1nas

I doubt Intel is completely out of B3s yet, so it's still luck of the draw.
It's in stock.Originally posted by: kastachu
Repeated reloads at the Egg over the past few hours bring up the Q6600 as both out of stock and in stock. Anyone know what's going on here? I'm a few clicks away from ordering all of my parts and don't want to get held up by a chip that may or may not be in stock. Not too concerned about the stepping, but I'd rather the majority of components from the Egg so I get it all at the same time.
In all likelihood, I'm guessing no one has any idea what's going on... oh well!

I checked Tankguys last night...they are charging $5 for a spot in line to buy a G0 stepping Q6600, but the disclaimer also says likely arrival in the first couple weeks of August...for around $280. Clearly, these guys anyway are planning to charge a premium for this stepping.
before they got more q6600s or before they get the g0 chips?Originally posted by: swtethan
I called and asked newegg on the cpu, they said 2-3 weeks! lol
