512MB of Corsair XMS PC3200 C2 is only $109 shipped second day at Googlegear. There's no reason to gamble when genuine Corsair is this cheap.

the corsair 3200c2 is also 6ns chips (oc'ed to ddr400 speeds). the winbond chips are usually 5ns chips, actually rated at ddr400.

yeah nice chips,

same as corsair/twinmos

can anyone do a bulk order from the manufacturer maybe?
someone said they were willing to sell...

thx

How does 109 - ($70 + $5 SHIPPING) = $40?

Interesting math there. I'd still say the Corsair warranty, CAS2 rating and 2-day shipping are worth the $34 difference. I'd also say actually being in stock is an advantage.

um, once you consider tax its about a $40 difference

Looks like newegg up'ed the price on these to $75. Still a freakin' hot deal if these are Winbond BH-5s. I am all over this as soon as they get these back in stock.

Try again. Newegg and Googlegear are both in CA. That means when one has tax, both do.

this ram is BH-5 winbond, according to the two sticks i have here. if you have any specific questions, i'll try and field them.

I'm thinkin of using 2 256meg chips in my new asus nforce2 board. If I set my cas to 2, shouldnt I be able to run these chps in dual channel mode?

At what timings did you reach that speed at, if you don tmind me asking?

alright...i ordered a pair to try out. we'll see how they stack up to twinmos/winbond. 🙂 i wish i jumped when they were $70. 🙁

Can anyone comment on the difference between these and the PC3700 chips as far as performance goes? Does anyone have the PC3700 chips and if so how do they Overclock? These do look like quality chips all around.
Thanks.

The Corsair is $102 shipped vs $79 shipped for the Buffalo. Decisions, decisions 😕

I think I will get the Corsair because for $23 I know for sure what I'm getting. Also you get a heatspreader.

This is good deal though. Those who get this post your results please.
