If you get the Cobb SF Intake you'll actually be able to hear the turbo spool and the bpv.

I have 6000 miles on my OB 2011 wrx.

No kidding. Most of the STi's I saw coming into MN were Limited + NAV and were pushing 40k. Love the STi, but it's not a 40k car...

just need to wait for subie to give some factory to dealer incentives. I shopped new evos and STIs a few yrs back. subie was giving something like 8500 in incentives to dealers that moved a certain number of cars.... so basically all dealers that would 'potentially' sell that number.

Long story short, that near 40k sti could be had for 30 or less.

even though I prefer evos ;) your wrx is nice. I envy the hatchback.

how's the paint quality on subies? does it chip easily? saw a white wrx the other day and it looked real nice with dark tint. I was only considering black or the dark grey color, but after seeing the white, I think my next car will be a white wrx!

It's horrible and chips very easily, razor thin. If I ever get another one it'll be clearbra right after I buy it.

Strange that they changed the break-in, my '06 wanted 1200 miles.

Congrats OP

Keying, door smashing, shoving around shopping carriages, parked hit and run... all things that should be penalized by hand removal. With a butter knife.

Definitely. No matter what pains you take, there is always the chance some a$$hole will do one of these things. Accidents happen, but owning-up to them is what is important.

I have the clear-bra on the front of the hood and behind the front wheel-wells, hopfully that helps with chipping and the like. I don't usually have an issue with paint chipping anyways, so I am not too concerned.

the worst part is, my '10 wrx (4/30/2010 purchased) had a ding on it in the front quarter panel. So I purchased a new fender, got it painted, and bam, like new!

Right when I was about to get the damn car detailed (about a couple months now) another ding! But this time, I'm able to do a paintless dent removal... Then BAM. another one. On a seam line. #@$!!@#$

WTF
