Did anyone else see that little bit on the news about the new women's panties with a condom pocket in the front, right over.. that area. I just thought it was pretty halarious. :p You think this promotes safe sex? Or just sex?

Cool! I bet the prostitutes and high school cheerleaders are lining up for them.

yeah, sure vi edit, hmm that would make things a little easier,
say having a day at the beach, and you've found a nice cove, but the blankets a few miles back, with your beach bag....

I guess they just realized the practicallity of the whole situation. I mean, girls have panties, girls have sex, so why not have panties with condom pockets? It's so blatantly obvious, no?

<< but i thought body heat degraded latex... >>

Exactly - that's why you shouldn't keep them in your wallet or backpocket. So I don't think the condom pocket is a good idea.

Personally, and honestly, I think it's incredibly stupid. It's promoting sex, and like Bignate603 and toolgirl have said, it's unsafe. Body heat is bad for latex.

hmm. very good point TG, but if it's not their too long, it'd really help kill the, "don't have one" excuse, or "left em in the car".

I think it's completely asinine. Women USUALLY have purses on themselves. Except perhaps at a bar and if you met a girl at a bar with a condom in her panties, wouldn't that make you wonder???

I don't make a habbit of having sex in strange places though, if I'm going to need a condom I usually have it there already. Given, I'm sure I don't have as much sex as you adults but still, wouldn't it be safer just to keep it in a purse or normal pocket, or something?

granny panties are made for SUPPORT! support. that's what grannies need.

you could always use condom pockets for other stuff btw.. used gum, important documents, loose change, smuggling drugs, toys, etc.

I won't ever be using a condom, so I guess this doesn't really apply to me...

Why?? If you don't mind me asking?

Only kind of protection I need is a wedding band.

Actually viper I am curious as well, condoms just aren't for std's but to keep there from being little vipers running all over. Won't that be a problem?

I don't like 'em because of the body heat issue. Also how sexy/comfortable can a pair of panties be with "condom pouch"?

Birth control is a wonderful thing. :)

And if little Vipers happen in spite of it?

I guess I'll have a new job: Daddy.

Maybe it would be mounted like the change thingy that walking salespeople at sporting events have attached to their hip.

Instead of spitting out quarters, it shoots out condoms :D

When you sit down some day and actually think there is a chance that you might be a father before you want to it will scare the living piss out of you man :) Talk to a doctor sometime, I can't imagine one not recommending an additional form of birth control to be used in conjunction with the pill! Its not that bad, why risk kids before you're ready?
edit: I want your TV, you can keep the chair though ;)

"Promotes Sex" - Pshaw...

It doesn't matter if the condom is built into the panties or not, because
"sex" is built into our genes. This isn't going to make any more people think
about sex more than they already were.

On the plus side this does attempt to bring more attention to the aspects
of safe sex and sexual education that we try to encourage in modern society.

On the down side, I suspect few women (outside of an established relationship)
will buy these because it does give an impression of willingness that most
single women don't want to state quite so blatantly, IMO.

I leave it to the ladies in the forum: When involved with your SO, would
you prefer to provide the protection, or would you prefer if he brought his
own?

Viper GTS, unfortunately STDs don't care about marital status, and many
do not require sexual contact for transmission. I'm sure your relationship
is quite safe, but that cannot be said for everyone.
