http://www.winmesweeps.comI was trying to see the most recent winners on the WinME contest but instead I got info on a MS new WinMe contest. After 3 attempts, I successfully registered but it crashed on me when I tried to play their instant win game. Has anyone else tried this?
 
I'm not 100% sure, but this looks like a site for people to register their newly installed version of ME.
 
I just now tried this site again and now it is back to the old WinMe site. I am guessing other people besides me had problems with the new site so they took the new site off and reverted back to the old one.
 
Hi, Worked for me, reg'd e-mail, phone number, played the scratcher game...

didn't win today, come back tomorrow
 
I just went there now (18:25 EDT) and registered for what looked like a contest to win ME, and the 'scratch-off' deal worked too.
Maybe you guys that had problems could try again later?

i just went to the site and it says everything is concluded.

Anyway, the site is the same as the last one, and i can tell it is definitely legit, coz'...... i won it!!! I just got the winme today! seems they are really shipping it on 9/1 😀😀😀😀😀
 
I can never get that scratching game work. I try to scratch, but the 'silver' stuff just will not scratch away.
 
Yeah, me either. I think there are a bunch of web developers sitting around laughing their arses off thinking about all of us scratching for hours for no reason... Fr*ggin' finger is sore from the touch pad on my laptop. I WANT SOMETHING FOR FREE DAMMIT!
 
Whoa, went to try my luck at the "scratch and sniff", I mean "scratch to win" and ended up at the old site. Decided to check the winners list and whaddya know! I apparently won on the 23rd!
 
I won and didn't even know it. I must've won the week they didn't post winners. I wonder if there was a screw up that week and they were generous? Sure is a pretty CD though.

i won on 8/1, and i got it today. funny, i even forgot that i enter the contest, and today when i opened it i was like, "bill randomly send this thing out?" (coz' there is no name on the envelop)

anyway, the CD is so pretty, but i have to say... I have been using winme since July 🙂
 
I won mine on the August 8th contest and just received it yesterday 9/5. It came by regular US Mail. You couldn't tell from the packaging only that it was postmarked in Redmond.
 
FYI, they've finally posted ALL of the daily winners, including Aug. 29-30 and the four days they experienced "technical difficulties".

Registered every day and I'm still not a winner. WAAAHHH!

Well, guess there's a gazillion to one chance of being the Grand Prize winner.
