I have known a number of military pilots who wore Citizen Skyhawks, but personally I like mechanical watches and would have no use for a slide-rule bezel or any of the other features on that watch. To each his own - enjoy!

I myself am wearing one of these:

I was thinking, that's not a bad looking watch. I wonder how much that is...

🙁

I think about $5k, It's one of the 'classics'.

My mom gave me a Heuer divers watch as a (very generous) gift a couple of years ago and I traded it for the Railmaster. If memory serves they were each about $2,300 at the time. The Railmaster now seems to go for about $3K, though if I were buying one I would just pick up a nice used one on Timezone rather than buying new - I expect they go for $1,500 or less there.

Why aren't you posting your weight loss numbers anymore chubbs?

Oh Alky, I see you finally came out of the closet as a fat-ass projecting your inadequacies on others.

What did you do to your wife that she thinks a down-payment on a car should be spent on a watch for her?

Ahh, more reasonable than I thought. I just looked it up and yeah, $3k.

That would be my kind of watch for an 'evening' watch. You can definitely wear it with a suit or shorts and it looks proper both ways.

$26,000 is a down payment on a car to you?

I have an easy life because of her. I still don't know if I am going to stay married much longer, but at least it's going smoothly.

Heh, ok I guess I was looking at the wrong one. I didn't notice that this one had some extra features.

and what does 'Radio controlled' mean?

Nice watches...I may buy a victronix actually for the dog park/shorts.

Radio controlled means it talks directly to one of the atomic clocks of the world and sets it's time automatically based on it.

You can turn that off if you want, but it's pretty cool and keeps your watch more or less accurately set anywhere you are in the world without having to actually know the current time.

lol. You guys embarrassed me out of buying that Citizen watch I wanted so badly.

That said, OP, that watch is kinda busy in the pictures Amazon has up. How does it look in person?

They are still extraordinarily busy. There really is no way to display that much information on a watch dial without making it look cluttered (though I think it's well designed for what it is).

my grandpa gave me a gold watch before he died

it was only years later that i learned it was very rare and well crafted and worth approx 10$k

I am disappoint - I was looking forward to a weight update but instead got a fugly watch update.

My boss wears classy watches, Patek Phillipe, these giant watches should be reserved for the Jersey Shore - Rick Ross crew.

Understated is the way to go.

Wearing 3lbs of stainless steel on your wrist - what a waste - get a Titanium watch.

Weigh is at 211-212 still, a lot more veiny though.

QFT, a pilot's chronograph is something you either like or don't. They don't tend to look as busy on the wrist as you aren't right up on top of it while looking at it from a distance.

I've never felt the need for an expensive watch, even if I could afford one. Luckily, my cell tells time and I'm comfortable with the size of my penis.

lol at a watch being an extension of one's penis. You mad the big boys fuck the chicks you want to?

I'm honestly happy to hear that Sr. While we're asses to each other on the internet for fun, I honestly wish the best for you and your family...

Something that I DONT think includes a $30,000 watch! (isn't that about what you paid for you M-3?)
