Right, i dont normally do this but i need an AGP card from 80~150 +/- 20 dollars to power my old AGP machine.
Specs
P4 3.0ghz northwood
2x512mb DDR400 (samsung)
Asus P4P800 deluxe
Suma FX5700 128mb (i want to get rid of this)
120gb hard drive (7200rpm)
Seasonic 350W(15A on 12V rail) this came with the gaming bomb case by chenbro i bought 4 years ago.
I will be pairing this with the dell 2007FP til i get a new PC. Sounds pretty funny but im getting the monitor first.
Anyway what are the best bang per buck deals for 80~150 dollar AGP cards? Experts i need your advice!
I will mostly surf the web, watch movies quite abit and play games occasionally. Im not really into games like some of you (no offence intended
) however will play quite a few games of warcraft3. I need something also to play older games like doom3/Dawn of War i have at an aaceptable level. (meaning 16x12 no aa/af at 40~60 fps)
But thinknig about it, i played doom3 with the FX5700 with everything on, 2xAA and 800x600 at medium settings. I thought it was playable but i benched that setting and got 23fps! i guess im not FPS sensitive..
Thanks in advance!
