New Verizon Phone - suggestions?

Hi. Looking to get a new Verizon contract this year, so I'm looking for a new phone. Here are my preferences:

1. Something that plays music pretty well. I'm willing to add a MicroSD card, but I want to be able to navigate the songs easily without changing my music collection much, and I'd like to be able to easily use my standard headphones to play. I pretty much want something convenient to listen to music to and from work on the subway without carrying my iPod all the time.
2. I don't text and don't want to buy any data plans, so I have no use for internet or a keyboard. I almost never use a camera, never use video, don't care about ringtones, etc. etc. etc.
3. I'd like a smaller phone. I'm used to flip and would probably prefer it, but from the reading I've done this year it sounds like Verizon's latest crop of flip phones aren't the best.

I'd also like to stay on the cheap end, which I think my preferences will coordinate with.

Thanks a lot for the advice! It's hard to get a sense of the music navigation/headphone compatibility from online descriptions, and it's hard to figure that stuff out in-store.

Also--my family and I all currently have RAZR V3s, and with our offer V3ms are free. My parents do nothing on their phones but make calls--is this a serivicable phone? I've heard complaints about Verizon's UI, but not sure if it only annoys the hardcore users that complain. If it's decent, would like to keep them on a similar phone (compatible chargers, etc.). If that phone would be good enough for my usage I wouldn't mind it, either.

THANKS!

From what I've read motorola has the best call quality and reception but LG makes better overall phones. I've had two (older pre-razr) motorola's and never really liked either of them. My GF has and (year old) LG flip which is pretty decent. A friend of mine told me he absolutely hated whatever version of the razr he had. I really like the LG Env2. It has a keyboard but doesn't require a data plan and is pretty small.

So to sum up I'd take the free phone for you parents. I don't use phones for music but the samsung juke is down right tiny and I believe it plays music. As far as I know the majority of phones don't support regular headphones. Mainly because they take up too much room.

Hmm, thanks for the comments.

I can get the Chocolate relatively cheaply (like $30 with the plan), so I'm definitely considering that. Is it easy to use with a 2.5mm -> 3.5mm converter jack?

Also, CNET recommends the Coupe for a very simple phone. Should I switch my parents over to this, or give them the free RAZR V3m that's offered?

Maybe to get the best price, but a data plan is not mandatory to run the phone.

EDIT: It appears it is mandatory on Verizon. My bad. That sucks. Get it on T-mobile or AT&T and you don't need to take data.
