Top 3 remain the same while WV rounds out the top 4.
Cal is now in the top 10, and my mighty Bruins move up 3 spots to 14![]()
And the "Cal is crap" posters are already out swinging. Cal easilly won against a CURRENTLY top 25 team (the only team that can claim that so far this year). Cal was never behind in that game and won by 14.Originally posted by: Shortcut

Hypothetically, if Cal destroyed USC, LSU, Florida, and all the other top teams, Cal haters will still claim that Cal shouldn't be in the top 25.

If Appalachian State and Michigan played 10 more games, how many do you think each team would win?
I say Michigan wins 8.
i would say michigan wins 9/10

In other news, Nick Saban has denied any interest in the Michigan job.

I dunno. The spread offense gave Michigan's defense last season and it looks like nothing has changed based off the first game this season. Will be interesting to see what happens when Michigan plays a Div 1A school that runs the spread offense...oh wait, that's what is happening this weekend!![]()

The AP poll will now allow voters to vote for 1-AA teams, so look for Appalachian state next week.

Awesome. For the most part its symbolic and won't have much of an affect, but very deserving for the mountaineers to have a shot at the rankings.

Once again, the media decides that App State did not win the game, rather Michigan lost it. What an insult to App State.
App. State played a great game, but UM should have won. OSU was playing Youngstown State (a team that has historically been roughly on-par with App. State and a team that had a lot to prove against OSU's current head coach who used to coach at Youngstown State), and still blew YSU out of the water.
YSU is not that much worse than App. State and if it really was a case of App. State being that good, then OSU would have had a much more difficult time with Youngstown State.
App. State played a great game, but the game was UM's to lose. UM was supposed to contend for a I-A National Championship. There is no way that a I-AA school should be able to beat the #5 I-A school. Simply no way. And it's completely right that UM fall significantly from their previous ranking.

I believe it is time to edit my own statement. Fixed. I needed to update the numbers and get rid of the asterisk.Originally posted by: dullard
Michigan has now lost 4 in a row (heck they nearly lost to Ball State last year, so they could have lost 5 of the last 6 games). Michigan just isn't that good.
