Hi! New system, new R11.5 score:
Funny how this thing is close to a 4P 12c Magny-Cours. And it totally schooled my old 1800x.
Wait. Your fancy new 12c/24 thread 3900x can't beat 48 antique cores? Seems like a good excuse to wait for the 3950x. ;-)
Great score, @DrMrLordX , but I had some time ago decided this benchmark was really not relevant anymore, and I've not been maintaining the thread. I could be wrong, though, and would hear arguments to the contrary.
@crashtech
CBR11.5 isn't terribly relevant so don't bother updating if you don't feel like it. I just had a little fun doing benchmark runs after I got a new high in CBR20.
Hey, Magny-Cours was pretty good for its time. 3950X isn't on the menu for me so it's this thing until Zen4 probably.

Since there is continued interest, I have resumed maintaining the thread as seen above.It has a relevancy since it s indicative of SSE2 perfs, more recent versions of CB use wider instructions set, SSE4.2 for R15 and AVX for R20, not counting that there s a 32bit version for comparisons with old CPUs..
oops sorry and yes 3.0 GHz is correct during the duration of the run.@foureight84 , @DrMrLordX , scores added.
@lopri , score updated, but I don't think your screenshot represents the speed. I left it at 3.00GHz in the chart for now.
Good point! As far as I am concerned, I will accept submissions that appear reasonable. Generally just putting the CPU under stress in the CPU-Z "Bench" tab than tabbing over to the main screen to take your screenshot should be "good enough." The speed column is mainly intended for OCed CPUs, really.Since Ryzen 3000 series chips do not have a fixed clock speed for any given workload (only the base frequency is guaranteed.. sort of), how should I go about reporting the score from a 3700X?
Exellent! As you can see, you beat the conventionally cooled 7820X by a healthy margin. AMD must be giving the Intel guys a hemorrhage right now, lol.Wowow. I had no idea! Yes, the CPU is cooled by Scythe Mugen and a 2000 RPM fan.
