exar333 has generously allowed me to share his Skull Canyon NUC result:

It appears in the list near the 3770K, which is pretty impressive given the form factor and thermal constraints.

Having problems with ocing this thing. New mobo is in route, so hopefully I can get a little more out of it until my 8350 comes.

Similar score as a Core2Quad or Pentium G3250, but with a TDP of 15W:

Could you post a screenshot of CPU-Z with all cores loaded?

Here you go.

I also wanted to clarify my last submission was a i5-6200U. Looks like you put 6600U

Face2Face _______ i5-6600U ___________ 2.69GHz | 3.05

Thanks for catching that, I've fixed it and added your new mighty quad.

Not bad I guess.

Not trying to push the OC at this point as I have no real reason to. 3.7GHz with 1.1v seems more than fine with me.

As time allows, I am going to include links to the posts from which each score was taken.

Decided to see how far I could get it without going over 1.275v in the BIOS.

4.7GHz @ 1.274v

Kinda surprised actually. Score isn't the highest probably because I had several other applications running and chrome open.

You have a really nice chip there!

Yeah looks that way, I may need to spend some of my time off coming up fine tuning things. I was hitting ~74C on one of the cores so temps are getting a bit warm, but I also have my fan profile set fairly low at the moment.

Ah well, it at least deserves a bit more of my attention especially now I see I have a particularly nice slice of silicon.

I was wondering if your uncore and/or memory timings need some work, as your score seems a little off the pace for the frequency.

Great chip you have there, YBS1! Was it luck of the draw, or did you have to go through a few to get to this one?

It's my 1337 overclocking skillz d00d! Eh...luck of the draw I suppose. It did 4.6 on pure default voltage, that run was with 1.35 in bios (1.39 indicated so there is some LLC going on with auto). I'd venture a guess that once I get familiar with Skylake and get it under a real water loop rather than the Corsair unit, it will probably be benchable @ 5GHz, daily at 4.8 maybe.

hi folks,

i thought i'd do a small update for my machine. i've been running 2 cores on each die of my Quad Opteron machine at 3.6 GHz and 1.275v just fine... i leave the rest at just 1.4 GHz and run all my programs on the fast cores... but just for giggles i set all cores to run at 3.2 GHz to revisit my Cinebench score... just thought i would share the updated results here:
