<< Steve, are you sure you're not really the newest incarnation of JonnyGURU? If not, ignore that question, and welcome aboard! >>

I am not JohnnyGURU, whoever that is. You can confirm this by asking member Maetryx. Who is JohnnyGURU?

Hmm...well, I'm a little suspect. I'll be keeping my eye on you;)

Anyway, have fun, don't get too addicted, like most of us here.

< A Stevens (Brand name, not a possessive ) Model 311 Series-H double-barrel 20-gauge by Savage Arms, Mossberg 500 Express, and a Winchester Model 12. Been drooling over the Mossberg 590 Mariner (MilSpec) and a certain Benelli lately.>

Groovy.

I have a pre-64 model 12 Winchester 20 gauge and a newer model 1300 12 gauge by Winchester. I always had my eye on a sweet Beretta O/U but I never could afford it (years ago). Since then I have given up bird and rabbit hunting and focus on archery and fishing instead; so I never bought it. I'd have to start trap shooting again in order to justify it.

I just picked up a new Hoyt Havoc (bow) ,all decked out, that is unbelievably light. I just love the thing, except for the ridge on the hand rest. It has a high spot that rests on my basal joint of my thumb (right on the bone) if I hold it the way I am used to. A little padding and an adjustment in how I hold it will fix that though.

My Winchester Model 12 is pre-64 as well. The only archery equipment I have is a Shakespeare 75 lb. draw recurve. Not bad in and of itself, but I would like to get a compound bow someday.

I work graveyard shift. I signed up yesterday morning, posted quite a bit, went to sleep, got up, then went to work. I am now back home, getting ready to go to sleep again. Technically, two days worth of posts from my person, but all within a twenty-four hour period.
