You choose. I guess street racing is punishable by up to 6 months in jail since it's a misdemeanor. Check if your state has it as a felony. Aggravated Felony assault on the other hand has got to be worse. Especially if he has any priors.

I'd press charges. And then force them to prove the video is legit (not doctored, computer generated, etc) if he tries to use it against me. Or maybe get a lawyer and submit the video myself and take a plea bargain on it then press charges on the guy and when he brings up the video LOL at him.

But I'll bet your friend and he were going back and forth about how they'd each kick each other's ass for real and your friend thought it was all talk.
