2. millenium, sorry that someone was immature and childish enough to do this to you. But are you positive that it was someone from AT? It sounds like something a younger person would do. Have you made any enemies on IRC lately?

i have been hit by the same spam. i'm not sure what millenium and i have in common.

i started getting them a day before millenium.

Yea, spamming is wrong, but I'm kinda surprised that this is the first time or it took this long for it to happen.

Check out spamassassin. Thats exactly what its output looks like. In fact, I'm pretty sure thats what the mail service is running.

I don't use IRC, and AT is the only board that I use that e-mail on that is a national board.

Spac3d is a racist little bastard, he's sent me childish PM's before after having disagreements with his racist remarks in a forum thread. I would not be surprised if he was the one who has done this to you, but until you have hard evidence good luck in your search. History proves that the mods don't usually take this kind of thing lightly.

I use Mailwasher. its great, the heuristics really get all the spam, and it bounces the message for those email senders of my choosing.

I still give it a quick run-through, though, before letting it do its thing, just in case.

its a great program, you can set filters, bladibla.... highly recommended.

Normally I would agree, but he PMs he has sent me in the past and they fight he tried to pick with me in that threa lead me to believe it might have been him. I just don't understand why PlatinumGold got spammed as well.
