I had read somewhere else, but wanted to confirm with you guys:

This isn't a stand alone movie, but rather the start of a new trilogy, right?

Hard to say. The Sarah Connor Chronicles is most likely coming to an end, and the TV series, along with T3 and Term: Salv sort of take place in a parallel timeline/universe. It's starting to get very confusing...

The intent is to make 3 movies. It is a "planned trilogy". Of course, box office receipts will decide this. I think what is meant by this is that there is an overall story arc outlined somewhere in Hollyland such that 3 movies can be made with a conclusion to the saga in the 3rd movie. Kidna like how the matrix movies were a planned trilogy.

I just saw this trailer with Watchmen last night and I was very pleasantly surprised! With only changing 10-15% of the trailer, they exposed a whole new storyline and the human conflict actually makes me excited to see the movie instead of just "I'll see it because it's a Terminator film."

That was a great new trailer.

It finally hints at what the new movie is about. I agree 100% that hte movie might actually be good.

So far the bar for the special effects+good story top rating in 2009 is set at 64% (Rotten Tomatoes) via Watchmen. Let's see where this one lands.

Also no Arnold = no Terminator movie

rent the Prestige and Rescue Dawn, the guy can act.

The dude lost half of his body weight for the lead role in the Machinist.

He has been around for a while but exploded with Batman IMO.

If this movie does well, he will be known as the resurrector of fallen franchises.

He is in talks to star in Ghostbusters 3 as Dr. Peter Venkman. Oh wait, that's just a dream I had.

I've seen all those movies and he was good in all of them but people think of him as a god. He's good but not that good.

So would you consider him a C level actor, like shia labeouf, a money maker like will smith, or a one dimensional actor like Keanu Reeves?

edit: I forgot to add d, none of the above.

I'm sleepy.

I'm just saying he's not the second coming as everyone thinks he is. I said he's a good actor and none of those you listed are good actors. All of his movies have been good but after the overrated Dark Knight, everyone thinks he's the greatest actor of this generation.

I think Heath Ledger received all of the acclaim in the acting of Dark Knight.

You should list some actors that you think are good so we know what page you are on. Some people know a few actors while others can name casts of movies.
