Hi all...
Built a new system recently and it seems to be totally stable but my cpu temps seem a bit high. I was wondering if it's ok to leave it as is or should I increase the cooling. Here's the setup:
Case: Antec SLK3700-BQE
PS: ENERMAX Noisetaker 470W "EG475AX-VE-SFMA"
CPU: AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64 FX-53
HS: Thermalright Copper Heatsink "SLK948U"
FAN: AcoustiFan? AF92CT
Mem: CORSAIR 1GB(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200 TWINX1024-3200XL
MB: ASUS "A8V Deluxe Wi-Fi" K8T800 Pro
GC: Geforce 5900
SC: Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 2
2 WD EIDE drives
1 DVD-ROM
1 DVD+/- R
Temps:
CPU 55 idle, 62 apps, up to 68 when hardcore gaming
MB seems to stay around 32-34
Like I said everything seems fine and I've had no crashes but these seem a little high. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
