Trailer looked decent, but why do they always gotta blow up the Enterprise?

Maybe they outsourced the construction to the Chinese? That shit never lasts as long as good 'ole Made in the U.S.A.

It was cool when they did it occasionally as it was a rare 'holy shit they blew up the enterprise!' (as opposed to badly damaged) kind of thing. Seems to be getting a bit more common place now though.

Was thinking the same thing, the little ship scene through the city and between the buildings made me wonder if a Star Wars clip from the next movie got accidentily inserted into this trailer. *shrugs and watches Alicia Eve clip and forgets Star Warsyness*

No. Don't you know anything about multiverse time travel theory?

If you haven't read Michael Crichton's "Timeline," watch the Star Trek TNG episode "Parallels" and imagine that changes from time travel create those divergent parallel realities and that seemingly paradoxical time travel was also travel between those different realities.

Also, it doesn't even require that. As unrealistic as the pace may be, he could have been found and unfrozen earlier in this timeline and made whatever kind of "agent" he is in this time since the previous movie.
