My guess is was a "HEY look what we can do!" product, and not really anything ment for retail. Kinda like, well, if it even came to needing something so big, we can make it. Either way, it will get some attention, which is prolly exactly what the company wanted.

Still another reason i will never look to INQ for news..;)

Don't waste your money on that... just modify a dust buster to blow air on your current heatsink... that'll keep it cool =)

is that humongous heat sink going to be the standard for prescott heatsinks?

whatever happened to those square heatsinks that didn't rise higher than 3-4 inches?
