I just had my Imation CD-R's shipped, too, so they did have them. This is also the fastest I've ever seen Onvia update their shipping information. My IBM harddrive, ATA100 controller card and case fan from another order shipped today!

Concerning delays in billing...I've noticed that Onvia seems to lag a bit in billing; they usually ship the items BEFORE billing. (Maybe that's why they're laying people off!)

Overall, though, regardless of the coupons, I would say that Onvia has been one of the best online vendors I have worked with. They do deserve some high marks for their customer service (and their occasional HOT DEALS! )

I ordered a msi motherboard from them on dec19 very late at night & it said the motherboard was in stock, the next day I logged in to check the order, it was in process & the item is now out of stock, & today it's still in process. I was wondering did those of you that received your orders get your order sent before they even gave you a track # & did you order around the same day I did & ealier to get your orders?

I order on the morning of the 20th of Dec. and all my items had shipped before I got the tracking numbers for them. The only reason I know that is because I didn't get the tracking numbers till today (the 21st) but I checked when the dates they were originally shipped and they all said the 20th. Something kinda strange though is that one of the tracking #'s doesn't seem to work at UPS website. However that tracking # is the one I got 1 out of the 2 boxes for today. (I assume there are 2 boxes because the other one hasn't shown up yet) I dunno. It says it was shipped... its kinda hard to lose a case box isn't it.

LOL...I ordered a bankers lamp for $14.99 the other day and needed to add .19 cent paper clips to get my order over $15 to use the $10 coupon....guess what UPS delivered today in a huge box?...the .19 cent paper clips!!! no wonder the dot.com companies are losing so much money.

I got working tracking numbers on three out of four orders at onvia.com. I got my 1 GHz Tbird, shipping from TN (this was OOS when I ordered it on the night of 12/19), and my two orders for 10X CDRW discs, shipping from CA; but the MSI K7T motherboard, which was in stock when I ordered it, is now OOS, and I don't have a shipping number for it either ("In Process&quot.

If Onvia runs true to form, in a few days I'll get an e-mail cancelling the order.

Strange, my orders from the the 19th still show in Process except for the .79 cent CD-R I ordered with the Plextor 12/10/32 to get it over $200 to use the $40 coupon, that single item (one CD-R) has shipped, woo hoo! Now why would they send the single CD-R seperatly if the Plextor is in stock. Is this new company that's handling the Onvia orders doing a good job or are they going to make sure Onvia goes under? The Plextors are still in stock so it hopefully will ship soon. Also shows that the order for the Plextor was placed twice and they cancelled the second order. Must have been when the site was getting hammered and I got no response when I placed the order...
