Anybody feel like figuring out which one of the eight bonded T1 circuits keep bouncing for this radio station?

I have little idea what you're talking about, and limited tools available, but I'm game. What do you want done?

We now have...

Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Hyundai, Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, Ford.

Notes: GMC disappeared with the elimination of SUVs and trucks, Pontiac encompasses aging vehicles.

I'm trying to keep the field as broad as possible right now, which is why I haven't struck all the domestics, and haven't touched the Honda and Toyota bastions.

I do not like Honda, I do not like Toyota. I've never driven one. I'm not sure I've ever even ridden in one. I dislike their styling, I hate the ricer culture, I have bad opinions of their driver quality, and so on.

Top that off with the fact that Acura is a bit overpriced IMO, without sportiness or style to back it up (sorry alfa), while other Honda vehicles are bland, slow, sound awful, dull interiors. The only Acura I liked is the older edition of the TL-S, and I will look that up.

As for Lexus, it's better than Acura, but only the newer model IS250 and IS350's are interesting, and the IS250 is underpowered, while the 350 is rare (250 = badge whores?) and not as compelling. Toyota killed their performance abilities long ago.

"The most notable revision is the return of the Type-S edition of the TL. The Acura TL Type-S received the Acura RL's 3.5-liter V6 engine tuned to 286 horsepower (213 kW) and 256 lb·ft (347 N·m). of torque with either a 5-speed automatic with F1 style paddle shifters or a 6-speed manual transmission. Exterior differences include quad exhaust pipes, restyled rear lamps and front fascia, lip spoiler, wider side sills, Brembo brakes, dark silver 10-spoke wheels, a "black chrome" grille rather than the standard glossy grille, and exclusive Type-S badging, plus an exclusive new color option, Kinetic Blue Pearl. The interior has Type-S badging on the steering wheel and headrests, more highly bolstered front seats, two-tone seats (only with the Ebony/Silver interior), metal racing pedals, carbon fiber trim, and red interior lighting (as opposed to blue in the base TL). Touch screen navigation is standard and the suspension has been firmed up. The only options are the aforementioned transmission and high performance summer tires (Bridgestone Potenzas) rather than the standard all-season tires (Michelin Pilot MXM4s)."

2007 and 2008 Acura TL-s. Regrettably, it is only a FWD platform, which is a mark against it, but the rest of those options is impressive, and I find it to be a very sharp looking vehicle.

And besides, that Acura prices out comparably to an Infiniti, and there's not a chance in hell I'd take an Acura over an Infiniti.

The Grand Prix and the new TL are the same length. The older TL is 6" shorter than both; the G is 12" shorter than both.

I want something a little more compact than what I have.

The new TL seems to be well-equipped, I remember being unimpressed at the car show though. I should at least test drive some of these, although finding a used 07-08 TL-S is likely to be very difficult.

IS 350 AWD – 3.5-liter 2GR-FSE V6, 306 hp (228 kW) all wheel drive,

That's much more like it. Good work Toyota, you pulled 100 HP out of a liter there.

One of our customers just reported one of their bonded T1 circuits bouncing. Go over there and take some line readings!

The new TL suffers from much the same problem as the new Mazda 6. It got bigger and uglier, at the same time that they gave it a more powerful engine, and, in the case of the Acura, added AWD.

Hyundai!

The Genesis coupe is an unfinished and unrefined RWD V6 sports coupe. It wants to be a Z. It's got several years and probably a couple generations to go before it gets into the range.

The Sonata however, is another story. Reportedly, there are some reliability issues, I haven't checked deeply. It handles well, it's comparable to a decade older I30t... except by using a turbocharged two liter four cylinder.
